Bella loved listening to Renee's old cd collection, and found herself immersed in the living room of her house, digging ever deeper into the pile of discs. Greatest hits flew by, and her ever inquisitive nature made her pick a personal favorite, just to be safe. Forks was far away, but her tastes never wavered. She had been shipped off on a plane to Florida, and Edward wasn't there with her. She was with her mother, and Phil of course, but felt as if she were all alone.
Cyndi Lauper's voice rang clear through the speakers. Bella closed her eyes, and listened.
Edward's are so much louder, she should get new ones.

Bella's question hung in the air, without an ear to hear or a mouth to answer it. She was home alone.
