I wrote this for my amazing friend, the fabulous UryuuByakuyaBabe, when she gave me the prompt 'Chocolate, rubbers, drawing pads and music. Have fun. And make it Merthur.' It's completely un-beta'd, BTW. I wrote it in literally about five minutes flat, so I apologise if it seems rushed.

Merlin was at his most comfortable – lying spread-eagled on the sofa in ratty black skinny jeans and a t-shirt, with his sketchbook on his knees, an open box of Maltesers on the coffee table and his phone blasting a My Chemical Romance song. And this was how Arthur found him when he returned home from a particularly late-ending and tedious day at work.
"Evening! How was work?" Merlin asked. He locked his phone, hiding the photo he'd been copying. Arthur hung up his suit jacket and went to the small kitchen in their flat, going into the fridge for a beer. Merlin finished off a detail in his drawing.
"Long. What're you drawing?" Arthur asked, opening his can of beer and going to look over the back of the sofa. Merlin snapped his sketchbook shut.
"Nothing," he said, though the crimson now dusting his cheekbones begged to differ.
"Come on, let me see," Arthur said with a smirk. Merlin lept up and ran off, clutching the sketchbook to his chest. After chasing him around the flat, Arthur managed to corner him in the bedroom, where Merlin reluctantly opened his sketchbook.
"It's me!" Arthur said. Merlin nodded. Arthur hugged Merlin around the waist from behind, still looking at the picture with his chin on Merlin's shoulder.
"It's great! It's so detailed, and..."
Arthur pressed a kiss to Merlin's cheek.
"Just... great."
