Percy had promised Annabeth they would go to college in New Rome together, have a child and watch it grow together, and even watch the stars together before they died.
And as said before, he had promised.
And now the promise was over.
When Annabeth decided to choose Piper as her bridesmaid in the wedding ceremony, Percy thought nothing. In fact, he was quite happy with the selection. But when the "I do" part came, Annabeth had suddenly said, "I love Piper!", and everything changed. Jason was the priest of the ceremony, and when he heard that, he almost threw a lightning bolt across the room. Piper's face flushed red and together she and Annabeth rushed out the room. Percy and Jason were left standing in the midst of a quiet audience and wide open doors.
And both their beloved girlfriends were gone.
It was quite a shock for percy until Jason came over and swooped Percy off his feet.
"Now will the bride accept the marriage?" he asked. Jason took a big breath after he said the question and smiled at Percy's stunned face. "Yes, I do."
Percy's mouth dropped open.
"And will the groom accept the marriage?"
Percy almost cried in front of his mother, his stepdad, Hazel, Frank, Reyna, Chiron, and a lot of other people, but nevertheless, the answer escaped from his lips.
"I do."
Jason smiled and a cloud appeared underneath their feet.
"Everyone, you are dismissed. The wedding is complete, and the bride of Jason Grace is now officially Percy Jackson. Thank you for your time, and goodbye," Jason said and flew Percy out of the room. ''We;re going to see your parents after this thing, okay? 'Cause just because I'm the boss of the Grace family doesn't mean you're the boss of yours,'kay?"
Percy nodded. Still in shock, I guess, Jason thought.
Percy's parents agreed to the wedding, and after some serious nose-blowing and crying, Percy and Jason left for their honeymoon.
And what about Piper and Annabeth? Well...they got together too, and in the end, everything worked out fine.
