Childhood Nightmares
Chapter One
As the night grew and the moon came from the clouds little Sally came from her home a black cat went across her legs she smiled as the cat purred but then ran away as someone emerged from the shadows, it was her best friend Jack Skellington. Sally was the most beautiful girl in Halloween Town her long red hair, her pale skin, and her mystic blue gray eyes, Jack saw her and ran over to her smiling like always "Come on Sally lets go" he said taking her hand as they went to the cemetery. Jack and Sally ran up a hill laughing they then lied down in the dark patches of purple and black flowers, Sally sat up and looked at Jack and smiled there parents had been friends so they had known each other forever, Sally's red hair blew in the wind Jack saw this and his skeleton face became different like a human when they blushed. Jack turned his head Sally started to pick the flowers and then handed them to Jack "Here these are for you" Jack looked surprised and then smiled "Thanks Sally , there simply dreadful." Sally always gave him things and he felt bad her never gave her anything "Hey Sally could you come with me" Sally nodded and they went to the graves, when you were born in Halloween town you had a grave it was like a birth certificate, they went to Jack's grave and they undug it Jack opened a coffin and pulled out his heart it was very small. The way people were married was they gave there lover there heart as a sign of ever lasting love, Jack turned to Sally "Sally.... when we are all grown up will you marry me" he said handing her his heart, Sally took it holding it gently "Of course Jack" Sally smiled. Jack smiled as well and kissed Sally on the cheek and Sally blushed "Oh thank you Sally when we are older our life will be great" they started to walk home they came to where they had to separate "Bye Sally, I love you" "Bye Jack, I love you too" they left each other to there homes but, sadly they would not see each other in the morning or for many year to come. Sally was attacked by the werewolf who had gone on a rampage she was shredded to much for her mother to sow and she was "alive" as they would say in there town. The family of Sally moved away leaving her remains in there old house, many years later the doctor moved to Sally's old house he found her and but her back together using other pieces of cloth. Her skin was very different and she was older now she looked different but her face looked the same only older she was still very beautiful. She opened her delict eyes "who ... are you" she said to the doctor "I am your creator." After the doctor and Sally talked for awhile she went to her old room she saw her parents had put Jack's heart in a glass jar with chemicals so it would not dry out, she lied on her bed as dust sprang from it she held a dead flower in her hands "I wonder how long I have been gone" she looked out of her window and brushed off the dust. She looked around everyone had grown including herself she then saw ..... Jack he had grown up as a handsome skeleton , his pale hard face he was wearing a black suit and he was very tall. She remember the last thing that happened before she was attacked ... Jack had asked her to marry him when they grew up.
