This takes place right after angel season 1 episode 8 about what would of happened if angel didn't turn back time and its after Buffy's mom died and after Buffy died.(in angels point of view)
"Angel I love i always have" Buffy said after making love to the ex vampire.
"I love you too" Angel said as he started to get dressed. He loved seeing that was here next to him.
"Angel you down there" Doyle says from the elevator.
"yeah Doyle I'll be right up" looking at Buffy Angel kissed her on the forehead and went up to talk to Doyle.
"Angel I know your really happy an all but what about helping the helpless we still have responsibilities" Doyle said looking at Cordy to back him up.
"yeah Angel no biasness no paycheck, oh yeah I need a raise"
Angel stood there silently.
"come on man I know you have had a hard life and you deserve this but"
"But what Doyle, I fight the demons human I'll die I'm not strong enough" Angel said knowing that it was true.
"Angel" Cordy started,

Angel started to walk down stairs he couldn't argue with them not now with his blissful mood.
