Hermione looked in the mirror as Ginny helped her do something special with her hair. She couldn't believe that today was the day that she became the Mrs. Ronald Weasley.

"What are you thinking about?" Ginny asked as she put the finishing touches on Hermione's hair. "You seemed to be lost in thought a few minutes ago. You aren't having second thoughts are you?"

Hermione laughed as she took in her appearance in the mirror. She thought she looked taller than she actually was but then again everyone's taller in heels. Her usually frizzy brown hair was now sleek in a gorgeous up do with small ringlets framing her face in perfect symmetry. She looked perfect in her book but Ginny insisted on putting a slight touch of makeup and jewelry on her.

"I was just thinking about how excited I am to be becoming your brother's wife," she told Ginny with a smile.

Ginny giggled excitedly. "We'll be sisters soon," she said the excitement clear on her voice. "Won't that be fun?"

"It will." Hermione knew they were practically like sisters already. After everything she and the Weasleys, and Harry had been through how could they not be almost like a huge family. "So when are you and Harry going to be tying the knot?"

Ginny blushed and giggled as she reached for mascara to put on Hermione. "When Harry gets around to asking," she replied with a small smile. "I think he wants to let this be yours and Ron's time and after the wedding and all he'll ask."

"Well I hope he asks soon."

Ginny shook the mascara a little then pulled the wand from the little bottle. "I need you to open your eyes wide," she informed Hermione. "And try to keep them open."

Hermione did as she was told. Almost blinking when she saw the mascara wand coming towards her eyes. She managed to keep her eyes open for the whole ordeal. Then watched as Ginny put on a slight touch of blush to her cheeks.

"There you go," Ginny finished. "What do you think?"

Hermione looked at herself in awe. She hadn't looked like this since the Yule Ball in her fourth year. She smiled at Ginny and brought the younger woman into a hug.

"Thank you, Gin," she whispered. "It's perfect."

The final touch was to get into her gown. She stepped into the gown pulling the straps over her shoulder. Taking in the final affects she was floored by her appearance. A knock sounded on the door.

"Girls," came Mrs. Granger's voice as she and Mr. Granger walked into the room, "it's almost time."

Hermione took in a deep breathe as her father took her arm. They followed Mrs. Granger and Ginny out the door and towards the wedding aisle that would lead to her future.

I hope you all enjoyed Hermione's Wedding Preparation.
