Hi guys. This is my first fic ever. I just got the idea driving my car one day. Read, and review if you like it!

That particular Friday night was not unlike any other weekend. Gabby, Troy, Chad, and Taylor decided to go to a movie (some horror flick the girls hated- it was the boys' turn to pick) and then on to the diner down the road. As the girls watched the boys wolf down two orders of cheese fries, a double cheeseburger each, and mozzarella sticks ("What? We're growing boys!"), Taylor grew very tired. She told Chad this, but it was really her way of saying "Take me home, so Troy and Gabby can be alone!" Chad, of course, being as thick headed as he is, didn't get this and told Troy to hurry up and finish and take Gabby home so they could go home and play Madden! Luckily, Troy hadn't finished his extra thick double choco chocolate milkshake. He told Chad he'd be over later.
Gabby quickly grew tired of watching Troy slurp his milkshake, leaned over on his shoulder, and promptly fell asleep. Troy finished his dessert soon after this, but to him, Gabby looked too beautiful to move. He swiftly moved his arm around her shoulders, to get more comfortable. As she rested, he thought back to all of the times they had spent together.
New Year's Eve. Singing with the most beautiful girl in the room. He knew that there was something special there. He first learned her name that night. Gabriella.
3 weeks later. They had won the championship. She had won her Decathalon. They blew Ms. Darbus away with their callback audition. He realized she was something special that night.
Slowly, Troy grabbed Gabby's hand. He played with her rings as he continued reminiscing.
Last day of Junior Year. School was out, and they had agreed to meet up after school at the flagpole. When they met, he started to say goodbye, and she told him that she wasn't going anywhere. He realized she was something more that day.
As the thought of this last memory, he heaved a huge sigh. This woke her up, and she looked up at him and smiled. He loved her smile. He loved her laugh, he loved her face. He loved everything about her. Heck, he loved her!
He noticed then that the ring he was turning around and around her finger was a heart with a crown on it, surrounded by two hands. The heart was facing out. He looked at her questioningly. "It's a claddagh ring. The heart represents love, the crown is loyalty, and the hands are friendship. You wear it with the point on the heart facing out if you're single, and the heart facing in if you're taken.
He relplied with a soft "oh." and returned to looking at the ring. After about five more minutes of comfortable silence, he made up his mind and took the ring off of her. She sat up at this point and turned towards him which a quizzical look on her face. He turned it around and positioned it at the tip of her finger so the heart was facing towards her heart. He looked at her beautiful face. "Is this ok?"
She answered with a mute nod and he slipped it on her finger. Then, with huge grins on their faces, they shared their first kiss.
So, that was it! My first fic! Review if you like. If you want to see a claddagh ring, you can view it here:
