I decided to make a different story to take a break from all of the Ghost Hunt and Naruto. I got the Fruits Basket series on DVD for Christmas and I thought of an idea for a story!
I hope you enjoy it!
Prologue:
It started with a curse. A curse that was going to separated lovers. But their love was strong. It said that a Sohma with the Zodiac curse can not hug the opposite sex without turning into one of the Zodiac animals or the cat. But once they have found their true love, not even the curse could stop their love: but why stop with one hug?
The day was rainy and somber. There wasn't anybody crazy enough to walk in such horrid weather; and traffic was very hazardous. The Main House of the Sohma's was especially quiet today. No one knew if it was just because of the porous day, or if something happened. And if something happened, they would know. Hatori was summoned to Akito's room.
As he made his way there, he couldn't help but think that Akito knew something happened. Something out of his knowledge. And whenever he was the last to found out, there was always something to fear.
"Enter." The door opened simultaneously.
"You summoned me, sir," Hatori knelt in front of his leader.
"Yes, Hatori. Something was anonymously brought to my attention." Akito began to play with his little bird friend as he continued. "That cat is finally drawing the line. And I'm pretty sure that… Tohru Honda has something to do with it."
He couldn't have found out… Hatori thought, but continued to listen to the younger man in front of him.
"It's about time I got rid of that girl. I should have disposed of her long ago, as soon as she decided to live with Shigure and them. And I think your talents are required for this."
Hatori almost visibly shook in anxiety. Akito knew his secret. And his talents, regarding his memory-erasing ability, wasn't something he used often unless it was absolutely necessary. "What are you referring to, sir?"
"The cat and that ugly skank are planning the downfall of this family. If it wasn't for this curse, I would have put him to sleep a long time ago." Akito rubbed his little companion's head, gently. "All I want is for their… kittens to be eliminated and I want her memory erased immediately. And then I'm finally going to show that damn cat who's boss!" Akito kicked a nearby table holding a vase, which broke when reaching contact with the floor and scared his little bird cohort away. He began to laugh hysterically.
Hatori did nothing but watch this sad scene. He bent his head down in melancholy. He couldn't go against the Head's orders; but how was he suppose to tell him that that "damn cat" and that "skank" were his current patients?
I hope you review. That was the prologue of my first Fruits Basket story! Just a new story to start up the New Year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
R&R!
