I'm getting sick, I'm so sad because I HATE being sick more than anything in the world. Sitting in bed all day is my nightmare. I figured Macy was the same. Thera-flu is disgusting by the way tastes like hot lemonade and earwax. Just thought I'd share. I don't own JONAS, shocking I know.

Macy Misa hated being sick. She hated spending countless hours in her bed, unable to see the sun or breathe the fresh air. She heaved herself onto her side, willing her body to gain back the strength she had been known for. "Ugh god why? Someone bring me soup!" She yelled at the top of her lungs, knowing well that no one was home. It was a school day and her mother was away at a convention. There wasn't anyone to take care of her. Macy sighed and sat up, sad that she was alone and miserable. Being sick sucked but being sick alone was even worse.
Macy decided now was the time to take a shower; she was having a hard time breathing and steam made her feel better. Thirty minutes later she was in fresh pj's and had resolved to change her bed sheets. She put on her JONAS album and began making her bed. In the midst of an epic guitar solo her phone went off. Macy smiled, at least some cared that she was dying.
"Macy! Are you ok, you never get sick?" Macy smiled as she listened to her best friend's frantic voice.
"Stella, I'll be ok. Just not feeling well. "
"You sound awful."
"Well that's what happens when you can't breathe very well."
Stella sighed into the phone.
"Is anyone taking care of you?"
"Nope I'm on my own. I'll be alright. Just gonna lay in bed and be miserable."
"Ok well feel better and I'll get your work so you can keep up." Macy frowned but thanked her anyway and hung up.
Macy began to feel weakness over take her body and climbed into her bed. Just before her eyes drooped closed she heard a knock on her door. She lazily made her way down the stairs to her front door and opened it expecting Stella with a notebook of homework. Instead stood Kevin Lucas with a grocery bag and a smile. Macy jumped in surprise and felt a blush rise to her cheeks. The last thing she wanted was Kevin of JONAS to see her in her pjs.
"Hey Macy, Stella told me you were sick and I have a free day, so I got you some soup and some movies." He smile grew bigger as he spoke and he walked past her and placed the grocery bag on the table. Macy turned and looked at him in shock that he had come to see her. He walked up next to her and removed her hand from the door knob and closed the door. He then opened the grocery bag and pulled out a quilt handed it to her and told her sit on the couch. He picked up the bag and walked into the kitchen and as Macy sat looking at the quilt in her hand she heard the banging of Kevin searching for items in her cupboards. She did as she was told and sat on the couch and wrapped herself in the quilt. Ten minutes later Kevin came back with a bowl of soup and a selection of dvds in hand. He passed the soup to Macy and displayed the DVD's on the coffee table.
"Pick one." Macy eyed the movies and read each title The Little Mermaid, Thumbelina, Anastasia, and Beauty and The Beast. She smiled only Kevin would pick cartoon movies to cheer her up. She reached for Thumbelina and smiled.
"All of them but this one first."
Kevin bowed and said "Your wish is my command." And placed the movie in the dvd player. He sat next to her and wrapped his arm around her. Macy blushed and looked down at her soup. Kevin caught her look, shrugged and stated she looked cold.
The soup was delicious and the movie was great. She sang along with Kevin and laughed when the bug made Thumbelina dress like a butterfly and cried when Prince Cornelius froze in the winter. She hadn't thought being sick could be so wonderful. After that they watched The Little Mermaid and Macy sobbed like a child when King Triton let Ariel get married. Macy wanted a happy ending and sighed as she leaned into Kevin. Kevin smiled and breathed deep into her hair. She smelled like raspberries. He took his arm from her and placed Beauty and The Beast. Macy shivered as he removed himself from her side and watched as he bent down to place the next movie in. Good lord that boy wore tight jeans, not that she was complaining. She bit her lip and felt her temperature rise, but of course that was her fever breaking and not Kevin's jeans. Half way through Macy was passed out against Kevin's chest and he was starting to drift into dream land as well.
Hours later Kevin woke up to the smell of raspberries and chicken soup, unaware of his location he stretched and opened his eyes. He looked down wondering what had made his stretch so difficult and found Macy's head on his shoulder and her body pressed against him. Her hair was sprawled around her and cheeks were flushed. He placed the back of his hand to her forehead and found it to be hot. She looked so beautiful and he didn't want to wake her, but at a time like this she needed to wrapped in warm blankets so her fever would break. He released himself from her and tentatively made his way up the stairs towards her room. He found it after looking through a laundry room and bathroom door. He grabbed her blankets from her bed and stopped when he noticed his picture on her nightstand. He smiled; he had always hoped he'd be her favorite. He closed her door and made his way back down to her. He took the blanket and placed it around her, tucking it so that no warmth would escape.
Macy woke up suddenly and lifted her head from the pillow, she had been face down in the couch and pushed her hair away and looked around. Her heart beat quickened as her eyes fell upon Kevin slouched over in a recliner, his head resting on his hand. She smiled when she realized he had gotten her more blankets and stayed with her. But a dilemma was raised, did she wake him or let him sleep as well? She decided she was too tired to think and placed her face back into the pillow and promptly fell asleep.
Kevin woke up with an ache in his neck and realized he had been sleeping in an uncomfortable chair, but it was worth it when he saw how peaceful Macy looked. He looked at the clock, it was nearly seven and she hadn't eaten since he came over. He walked into the kitchen and began to make her dinner. He cleaned the dishes and walked into the living room to wake her up. He sat next to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Macy wake up." He shook her slightly but she moaned and turned her back to him.
"Macy wake up. You need to eat." Macy mumbled something and turned to look who was moving her. She smiled with sleep when her eyes fixed on Kevin and his curly hair.
"What is it?"
"I made you some dinner. You haven't eaten in hours." Macy nodded her head and sat up. She placed a hand to her head and wavered slightly. Kevin gripped her shoulders to steady her.
"You know what; I'll just bring it you." Kevin began to stand up but Macy stopped him.
"Please, just stay here with me." Kevin sat back down and placed a hand to her cheek. Her skin was hot and moist and he couldn't imagine what she was suffering from.
"What can I do for you?" Macy closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath.
"just sit with me. Your warm and I'm so cold." Kevin placed the blankets over both of them and wrapped his arms around her. Macy sighed into his warmth and began to relax. Kevin's heart was pounding and he knew he had to tell her.
"Macy?" He heard her acknowledge his voice with a soft 'mmm' from his chest.
"I know you probably won't remember this once the fever breaks. But I'm pretty sure I love you. And I was so worried about you when I found out you were sick. I wanted to be able to take care of you." Macy smiled as she snuggled deeper into his chest and whispered, "I love you too." Kevin smiled and hugged her and kissed her hair. He'd tell again once she was awake, for now he was fine with laying with her as she found rest.
Well readers that's it. Man I'd love for Joe Jonas to come take care of me. Being sick sucks but I guess it made out for a good story. Please review, it helps me get better.
