Charlie watched Draco chuck things over his shoulder as he dug through the closet. He knew it was probably a bad idea to suggest doing some spring cleaning to his boyfriend. Appreantly the younger boy had no idea how spring cleaning actually worked. What Draco was doing was more spring mucking up.

"Maybe you should take a break," Charlie suggested to the younger man as he took the object that Draco was about to toss over his shoulder. "I think maybe we should go have lunch."

"Lunch?" Draco asked incredulously. "You were the one to suggest we do this spring cleaning thing. Now you want to just stop in the middle of it all and eat. I think we should continue. The closet is almost empty."

Charlie looked into the closet and nodded. It was indeed almost empty but not in the way that it should be almost empty. He would have to explain spring cleaning to Draco but he didn't exactly know how.

"Boys," Charlie's mother's voice came down the hall, "are you up here? I brought you boys some lunch. Your brother, Ron, told me you were doing a bit of light..."

Charlie looked over to find his mother's wide eyed shocked face in the doorway. She took in the room and the almost pleased look on her son's boyfriend's face. Charlie's face however flared with a slight blush of embarrassment.

"What seems to be going on here?" Mrs. Weasley asked looking around at all the items on the floor.

"Spring Cleaning," Draco replied happily. "I think we're almost done with the closet."

"But dearie," Molly told him gently, "I don't think you're doing it right."

"What do you mean? Everything is almost out of the closet. Isn't that how it's supposed to work?"

"In a way. Yes. But you must make sure that everything is going to be used and; if it's not you must either sell it or throw it away."

"I didn't know that," Draco mumbled embarrassed.

"Don't be embarrassed. I didn't think that your parents would teach you such a thing as spring cleaning. But if your willing to learn we can remedy this situations. Are you willing to learn?"

Draco nodded earnestly.

"Well then," said Molly holding up an old school essay of Draco's, "are we keeping this or getting rid of it?"

"Getting rid of it," Draco replied.

Charlie watched in shocked awe as his mother and Draco got down to work on cleaning out the closet. He felt a sense of relief that Draco hadn't taken what his mother said about his family personally.

"Are you going, dear?" came two very exasperated voices from in front of him.

With a chuckle Charlie joined his boyfriend and mother in their work. Hopefully they'd be done soon so that they could the yummy smelling lunch his mother had brought over.

I hope you all enjoyed House Cleaning.
