Chapter I: The next day
Gadzooks woke up one morning with Bonnington, the cat, purring in his face. So Gadzooks blew a flick of fire into Bonny's face making her run away. David came walking in asking, "Why did Bonnington run off?"
"She was in my face" Gadzooks replied getting off the window ledge.
Gadzooks decided to go to the kitchen to get some breakfast. "Mmm, Dragon O's" said Grace, G'reth, and Gadzooks at the same time. After breakfast Gadzooks went into the living room and turned on 'Dragon Booster'. At the same time Lucy went into the kitchen.
Five minutes later…
David came in and turned on a soccer game and Lucy gasped "Uh-oh, now you did it."
Now Gadzooks went 'Berserk' on David for changing the channel. Just then the doorbell rang…
Chapter II: Sophie's back
Liz, the landlord, went to go answer the door. All David heard was "Oh, I've missed you so much", just the Lucy ran to the door happily. Then all of a sudden someone landed next to David saying, "Hey David, how are you doing?"
"Sophie, I've missed you so much", David responded hugging Sophie.
"I've been at a zoo in Africa for six months, how do you think I am doing!" she said sarcastically.
"Do you want to go upstairs to get Grace from my room?" David asked.
"Sure, why not" Sophie responded.
"David!", Liz yelled "did you tell Sophie about Zanna?"
"Zanna?" Sophie wondered.
David blushed and headed upstairs to his room.
Chapter III: The talk
While grabbing Grace, Sophie asked, "David, who is Zanna?"
"A friend in my department at school" David answered,"she is into Goth and Lucy thinks she is a witch."
"A witch?" Sophie puzzled.
"Because she is a bit strange." David depuzzling Sophie.
"Zanna only came over to give me a book for Dr. Bergstrom's class." David saying trying not to get in deeper trouble with Sophie.
"Well look at the time," Sophie said looking at her watch, "I guess I better get home, thanks for taking care of Grace, bye."
David waved out the window as Sophie drove off saying," Whew, that was close."
