Cain was unsure how he found himself in this situation. He sighed again as the sixth girl came up to him and offered to buy him a drink. He just grumbled and politely as possible told her no, for he was on duty. The blond in the incredible short skirt and low riding top just pouted as she walked away. Cain had no clue there were places like this in the OZ but after five minutes in this place, he learned a lot about the OZ.
He looked up again and cursed the blonde under his breath as he lost his charge in the crowd. After a few moments of scouring the crowd he found her, bouncing along with the beat laden music. She was surrounded by men and women alike as her chocolate brown hair bounced around her, as did some other parts of her body. Cain just pinched the bridge of his nose as he watched a princess of the realm move like a common call girl across the dance floor.
How the hell did he get talked into this again, he thought. And then he remembered those crystal blue eyes looking at him so pleadingly and he just smiled again. He felt another hand on his shoulder and then cursed loudly when he saw a guy standing there, giving him a lustful gaze.
After spending five minutes explaining to the man that he was not interested, he found that DG had made her way over to the bar to get yet another drink. He was a little shock and somewhere deep down inside a little impressed about the amount of alcohol the woman had drank and was still able to stand. With the way she was going, she could out drink him.
He then noticed the guy that wormed his way up to DG and was sitting next to her, too close to her. He had a look on his face and being a man himself he could tell what it meant, he was looking at the princess as another notch on his bedpost. Cain started to make his way through the crowd. As if she could sense his uncomfortableness, she looked up and noticed Cain's approach. She slipped a hand up showing that she wanted him not to help. He just gave her an unpleased look but he respected the princesses wishes, even if he was not too happy about it.
DG just smiled at the man, a sexy little smile and whatever she said shocked the man, causing the man's eyes to widen. She ordered another drink and the man just stood there for a second before he leaned in to whisper something into the princess's ear. Cain's blood boiled at this. DG just laughed at the man before brushing him off, taking a drink of her new drink. The man was not too pleased at being ignored so he reached out and grabbed the princess roughly. Cain lunched forward but before he even got close the man was on the floor, clenching an incredibly sensitive part of his anatomy. DG just smirked down at him before finishing off her drink and moving back out to the dance floor.
And Cain just stood there, wide eyed and shocked. And that is when he knew his life was never going to be boring.
