CLAIMER: on the other hand, I DO own the method for finding 7 from the equation! So HA!

Captain Gin Ichimaru walked down a hallway and into the Captain and Vice-captain meeting room. "Please have a seat, the meeting is about to begin" Said the caller of the meeting, Vice-Captain Momo Hinamori. After a moment of chatter amongst the top seated of the divisions, the meeting was called to begin. Momo went to the front of the room. "I'm sure you're all wondering why I have called this meeting. A fellow Vice-Captain, having begun an interest in mathematics, has found an error within all the mathematics school books and wished to point it out. Vice-Captain Isane, please come to the front and explain.

Isane got up from her seat with a piece of chalk and walked to the front of the room as Momo took her seat. Isane coughed before beginning. "I was looking through a basic math school book, and found one simple question to be answered wrong." She took the chalk and wrote on the chalkboard behind her, '2+2' There were groans across the room. "Not again..." Grumbled Captain Hitsugaya. "I have seen that children are expected to answer 4," Isane began, "But I will show you just how it is seven, with a story to go with it for ease of learning."

She underlined the twos, "These twos are twins, they live in the same home here in Numero Town." She began. She circled one of the 2's and drew an arrow to the other side of the chalkboard, where she drew it again, "This 2 moved away when it was 18 years old though." She put 1/2 next to it and put the times symbol between them. "The two met one half, and they had a child whom they named one." She said, drawing a 1 under the 2 and 1/2.

"After many years, 2 and 1/2 grew apart, and they divorced, forcing 2 and 1 to move back in with 2's twin. The 2's soon found out, however, that they weren't twins, but their TRIPLET was separated from them at birth, so the three 2s and 1 made 7." The elder Koetsu said, drawing this all as she spoke. She turned back to her audience, "Now, I suggest that we change the schoolbooks to be more correct." She said.

Gin stood up, "I think that's a great idea!" He exclaimed, "Why, in fact, I'll change 'em all myself!"

A young school child looked up addition in her school book. She saw an interesting story about 2+2. "But their TRIPLET was separated from them at birth, so the three 2s and 1 made 7. Now, that is an example of someone who has NOT been educated in mathematics and has an overactive imagination. We give you these books so you don't end up like 'em."
