In remembrance of Lily Potter,
Who made the ultimate sacrifice in order to make the world a better place,
And died protecting her son,
She will always remain in our hearts.
In remembrance of James Potter,
Who was seemingly enemies with the love of his life in school,
But died to protect his family,
And to make the world a better place
In remembrance of Frank and Alice Longbottom,
They lie in St. Mungo's,
Driven to insanity by the Dark Side
And who must have been freaking awesome to have a son like Neville.
In remembrance of Cedric Diggory,
Who died for being to generous and for being in the wrong place in the wrong time,
He will forever be the spirit of what Hufflepuff stood for.
In remembrance of Sirius Black,
Who lived and died as he said he would,
For his friends,
His friends are also laughing at him now because he died because of drapery.
In remembrance of Albus (too many names for his own good) Dumbledore,
Whose past and wisdom confuse us,
Whose seeming betrayal shocked us,
But he turned out to be a pretty good guy,
Despite the 'almost killing Harry' thing.
In remembrance of Gellert Grindewald,
Who died lying to Voldemort's face,
And tried to make up for past mistakes,
We think.
In remembrance of Hedwig,
Harry's first real friend,
Who lived and died in the air.
In remembrance of Alastor 'Mad-Eye' Moody,
Whose motto, 'Constant Vigilance' kept him alive,
And scared the crap out of some kids, too.
In remembrance of Remus Lupin,
The last real Marauder,
Who was a wonderful father, an incredible husband, a brave hero,
And a freaking awesome werewolf!
In remembrance of Nymphadora Tonks,
An amazing mother and wife,
Who died for what was right, not what was easy,
And who would probably hex me for calling her 'Nymphadora'
In remembrance of Fred Weasley,
Who died laughing and fighting loyally,
Whose jokes will forever brighten his other half,
As he loyally awaits his best friend and brother.
In remembrance of Peter Pettigrew,
Who must have been a pretty okay guy to start with,
And he kind of helped out Harry in the end,
But who are we kidding, he was worthless and pathetic,
Proof that not all Gryffindors are good and noble.
In remembrance of Dobby,
Who was more full of freedom and love than any other elf or human,
And who died saving Harry and his friends.
In remembrance of Severus Snape,
A Slytherin that died like a Gryffindor,
Without all the red and gold lion crap.
In remembrance of Colin Creevy,
Who most of us didn't really know too well,
But he took a lot of pictures and died fighting bravely in the war,
So he did some good things, besides stalking Harry.
In remembrance of Bellatrix Lestrange,
Who was utterly heartless and completely awful,
And who got everything she deserved,
Especially from Molly Weasley.
In remembrance of all of the Death Eaters,
Who followed him not out of respect, but fear.
In remembrance of Tom Marvelo Riddle.
A.k.a Lord Voldemort,
Who was a pretty okay guy to start with,
But became a lonely freak who killed innocent people,
And got his butt rightfully kicked in the end,
All because he thought a one-year-old was threatening him.
In remembrance of Harry Potter,
Who was dead for about twenty minutes,
Before he came back and killed Voldemort with his trademark spell,
'Expelliarmus!'
In remembrance of all of the people who lived and died fighting,
'For the greater good' some might say,
Others chose not what was easy, but what was right,
And made the world a safer place for generations to come.
