" The Helping Hand"
Pearls hand was extend as the two gems were frozen under the night sky. " Well? Are you going to let me help you up?" Onyx was still frozen. He was simply dazzled by the way pearl looked as the stars glowed around her. He had a nervous looking face and tried to accept the kindness without embarrassing himself. All he could think was " Didn't she almost kill me a second ago?" this is all that went to his head. Before, she extended her hand to help him up he hadn't realized he'd even fallen on the ground.
As he was being pulled up Onyx felt like the whole world was in slow motion, and Pearls smile generous look didn't help him feel any more calm. Just being this close to her was a privilege. Onyxs' cheeks turned bright red, and although this just felt like a rerun he wanted to make the best of it. At that moment everything set back into motion. Once Onyx was on his two feet he pulled his hood down and moved his hair from his face. " Are you going to be alright?" Pearl asked noticing the gem in his forehead. Onyx hesitated for a moment then spoke. " I could ask you the same thing." Pearl started to blush again but then replied " Yes I'll be just fine." she said a bit of firmness and confidence in her delivery. Onyx chuckled with a grin " Good." he said in a light but cheerful tone.
Pearl almost felt offended because of the laugh. She had a sour look upon her face and said " Are you making fun of me!" her finger pointed at him as if she yelling at a child. Onyx quickly responded "No no no I'm not making fun of you." "Then what!?" Pearl proclaimed. Onyx smiled " Your cute when your like that." realizing that was a little to forward when he said it his face immediately turned into the nervous wreck from a few moments ago. Pearl was blushing her emotions matching her face of embarrassment. Pearl grabbed him and firmly said " Your coming with me." After a while of being dragged by Pearl Onyx realized that he was dosing off again. Now all he could think is " Oh no I am so stupid!"
Onyx was dragged all the way to the gems state of residence and now Onyx was serious screwed. Onyx was thrown into the house laying on the floor. " Well this escalated quickly..." Onyx mumbled under his breathe. He pushed up lifting his head up to look around when all he sees is Stevens faces. " Oh great!" Onyx thought. "This is great. Maybe if you would have played your words a little differently this wouldn't have happened but now your here ,your caught and ,you called Pearl cute great job Onyx!" he screamed to himself calling himself an idiot in his own thoughts. But, then he heard a voice. " Hi my names Steven what's yours!" he said with a big happy smile across his face. Onyx thought to himself " Great another mess I need to get out of."
