Your POV
Groaning, I throw my stuff around my room making it more of a mess than it already is and flopping on my bed. I move my head to look at my clock. 4:00 PM. Mom and her new boyfriend, Daniel, would be home real soon. He kinda scares me when he looks at me behind mom's back. He definitely doesn't like me. Most the time I like to just go out when he stays the night here, but I can't avoid it every time. Sometimes he won't let me leave. That's only when he comes home alone though. Sighing at the thought of seeing him come back, I rub my recently added bruises from my previous confrontation with him.
As I pull my hand back down, I hear the front door open. Opening my door slowly, I peek out and see just him. Just Daniel. I scan him over. He is slightly hunched and holding a bottle. Oh no. When he's drunk he's worse. Having no windows, the front door is my only escape. I hear him coming towards my room, so I close the door. I have no where to hide. My room is basically a box with a door. I stand as close to the door in the dark. As he opens the door already yelling at me, and burst out and run to the front door. He grabbed the back of my shirt and pulled me back.
"Where you think you are going?" He asked in my ear. I pulled away as hard as I could getting free of him and running down the stairs to the outer apartment door. Getting out, I lean against the door sighing. He won't follow me out of the building for some reason. I just start walking hoping to find someone to talk to. I go on top of a building having no luck with finding some of my friends. I sit on the rooftop rubbing the back of my neck where his long nails had punctured enough to draw blood. Looking around to make sure no one was around, I pulled my now soaked shirt off. Having a sports bra, I didn't feel too revealed until I actually heard someone behind me. I held my shirt back up to me and looked to see what had caused the noise.
"What's a pretty dudette like you doing up here alone?" I was shocked to see a turtle about 5 ft tall in teen apparel. I looked at him staring until he asked again. "Bruh? You okay?"
"Who-who are you?" I asked tightening my grip on my shirt regretting removing it.
"Well, my bros call me MC, how bout you?" I took a big breath and let it out.
"(Y/N)." He smirked and looked to my shirt.
"Wow, is that your blood?" He asked looking more amused than anything.
"Yeah, why do you care?" I asked feeling the sweat on my palms loosening my grip. I retightened my grip and fidgeted.
"I don't know, just curious. So what happened." He asked leaning against the smokestack thing.
"Should I really be talking to you?" I asked.
"I don't know, turn around." I stiffened again hesitating. "Oh, c'mon i only wanna see! I won't bite. This time." I obeyed slowly and felt his cold three fingered hand on my neck. "Wow bruh, I think you'll be fine." MC said. I could feel his breath on his neck he was so close. He ran his finger down my neck to my shoulder blade and I pulled away. I turned to look at him smirking. "Smart girl." He said still smirking. Quickly he kissed my cheek bonding off to the next rooftop. "Until we meet again. Next time, maybe it can be me who takes your shirt off." He said regaining his menacing smile and turning to continue leaving. I felt a shudder go down my spine as I realized what just happened, and that I actually... enjoyed it?
