There was something on Sweeney Todd's mind

Authors Note: Bare with me on the facts here. Read and Review? It's short, so short little tiny review?

Distraction

There was something on Sweeney Todd's mind.

Something silly, small and unreasonabally annoying.

No it was not Mrs. Lovett, but she came close in the running.

He walked down the stairs not bothering to look up.

He kissed Mrs. Lovett goodnight, without seeing who he was kissing.

He ate his meals with one hand.

The only time to watched was when he killed a man.

But that didn't help his troubles.

He could kill all the men in London, and still this would bother him.

He had seen all the cruelty of men, but that didn't help with this.

The thing was a distraction I tell you, a major distraction.

After the judge, the beadle and the beggar woman's kill,

he forgot to proceed downstairs at her scream.

He would have, but he was too wrapped up in what he was doing to notice.

She thought he was always thinking about the judge,

but he wasn't.

Instead when she walked by her bedroom that night,

after she had burned all the corpses,

he sat atop her bed with a colorful little cube,

angirly staring at it,

with no luck.

She rolled her eyes, and sat down next to him.

He gave her a glare.

She twisted it and turned it,

his eyes trying to follow her every move,

but he failed that miserably.

She placed the cube in his hand,

he stared in awe.

So she says;

"That's how you solve a rubix cube."

End Note: I know the rubix cube wasn't invented then. I'm not completley daft. I just randomly struck inspiration. Review now? Just a little clickkk?
