The End Of The Line
"When the sirens flash is gone,
And we're left to carry on,
All the memories are to few,"
Heero wipes tears from his eyes as the police sirens fade away
"When the pastors music plays,
And that casket rolls away,
I could live again if you,
Just stay alive for me"
"Damn you, Relena" Heero blinks and tries to keep from crying. "Look what you've done to me!"
"Please stay now, you left me here all alone-
It's the end of the line,
Please stay I can't make it on my own,"
"I will have my revenge for this." Heero walks out of the church, eyes blazing with eternal hatred for Duo Maxwell.
"It's the end of the line,
Make it on my own,
It's the end of the line,"
"Heero! NO!" Heero knocks Quatre out as he climbs into Wing Zero.
"Now that you are dead and gone,
And I'm left to carry on,
I could never smile cause you,
Won't stay alive for me,"
Wing Zero's engines flash across the desert. Heero catches the glint of metal. Duo's one fatal mistake.
"Please stay now, you left me here all alone-
It's the end of the line,
Please stay, I can't make it on my own-
It's the end of the line,
Make it on my own,
It's the end of the line,"
Heero charges Wing Zero towards the Deathscythe and rips his blade through the rock, Duo just barely making it out.
"Finally,
Your final resting day,
Is without me,
I weep,
And tthink of brighter days,
What about me?"
Deathscythe dodges as Heero lunges forward and attempts to rip the metal of Duo's MS apart. "Heero! Stop this madness!"
"Please stay now, you left me here all alone-
It's the end of the line,
Please stay, I can't make it on my own-
It's the end of the line,
Make it on my own,
It's the end of the line,"
"You killed her!" Heero slices off Deathscythe's arm. "It's my job! I had to kill her! For the safety of the world!" Wing Zero draws it's gun. "You mean to insure you had a job?!" The gun starts to power up its beam.
"You can't take back the one mistake,
That lives on after life it takes,
In that one day, that changed our lives,
And bitter memories left behind,"
The gun fires and blows Deathscythe's head off. In the distance, Heero can here Duo's scream of agony. The boy flies back to the church.
"Please stay now, you left me here all alone-
It's the end of the line,
Please stay, I can't make it on my own-

Make it on my own,
It's the end of the line."
Heero sits in one of the aisles, buries his face in his hands and starts crying. "Relena. Damn you, Relena."
