A/N:- Alright. A lot of people complain about movies. How they ruined some character and how they didn't show enough. However, if there is one thing we all agree on, it is that Alan Rickman was the perfect Severus Snape. Sadly, he passed away yesterday. So, in his memory I wrote this little one shot. About the charcater we love to hate and hate to love.
DISCLAIMER- Still don't own Harry Potter.
English is not my first language. I apologize for any grammar or spelling mistake.
"No one asked your opinion, you filthy little Mudblood," Malfoy spat. Ron Weasley was a person who got angry rather easily. Anybody who knew him knew that. However, no one has ever seen him angrier than he was right now. He looked ready to kill someone. That someone being a blond Slytherin.
"You'll pay for that one, Malfoy!" Ron angrily growled with so much venom, it scared twins a little. The very next instant, Ron Weasley, with his broken wand, had somehow managed to do a non-verbal spell. A green light shot out of wrong end of Ron Weasley's wand and struck him right in his chest, knocking him almost 20 ft away on his back.
Nobody paid attention to Sytherins as they broke into laughter. Malfoy, who looked like he was going to pass out a few seconds ago from fear was now on his all four laughing hysterically.
"Ron! Ron! Are you all right?" squealed Hermione. Ron opened his mouth to speak, but instead of words, two slugs dribbled out of his mouth. The Slytherins laughed even harder.
"What is going on here?" A loud voice echoed through field effectively silencing everybody. Harry looked back to see their Potions master, Snape walking towards them, his robes gliding behind him.
"Great!" Harry muttered, "Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse."
Ron nodded, belched loudly and a couple more slugs dribbled out. Snape looked at Slytherins, who were now mum as corpse and then at Ron with obvious disgust.
"Potter! Explain!" Snape said, boring his eyes at Harry. Harry sighed silently and began explaining.
"Malfoy. He insulted Hermione." Harry said, looking at Malfoy who smirked a little." He called her..something. And Ron tried to defend her."
Snape glanced at Malfoy and then at Ron.
"He called her Mudblood." Ron muttered, not looking up. Obviously pained at repeating the word.
Harry saw something flicker in their potion master's eyes. Snape glanced at Harry for a split second, something very similar to regret and guilt evident on his face. The emotion passed so quickly, Harry almost though he had imagined it.
"Malfoy. Wait for me in my office." Snape said, not even looking at him. "Rest of you, disperse. Now!"
The Slytherins didn't need to be told again. They did as commanded. Harry, expecting Snape to give Ron detention for trying to hex Malfoy was surprised when Snape turned on his heel to leave.
Snape had barely walked a couple of meters when he stopped and looked at Ron, who had belched a fresh pair of slugs.
"5 points to Gryffindor."
And then he left, leaving everyone in stunned silence broken only by Ron's occasional belching.
Nothing grand. Just something I think makes sense. Read and review!
