Kenma was staring down at his video game, walking behind Kuroo, to make sure he doesn't bump into anyone. He died again, causing him to sigh again. He was tired of this game, it was too hard. He gave up for now, he would try again later. As he angrily put his game away in his bag, he pulled out his phone, and started to text Hinata.
"Do you ever not have a device in your hands?" Kuroo teased, slowing down to walk next to Kenma, wanting to be nosy and look at his phone. "Ooh, is that Karasuno's #10? What was his name again?"
"His name is Hinata. I've told you ten times, but you never listen..." Kenma tried to hide his phone from Kuroo's peeping eyes, and decided to just put his phone away to prevent Kuroo from staring.
"Oh yeah, I remember now. I like to call him shrimp. Its easier to remember." He went off on a rant about how short Hinata was, but Kenma being Kenma, wasn't really listening. He would nod whenever Kuroo asked him something, but he started to daydream after that.
"Hey...could you carry me the rest of the way? I don't feel like walking anymore..." He glanced up at Kuroo, and gave him the puppy dog eyes he knows Kuroo can't resist.
"Kenma its not that far, just 3 more blocks. You can do it." Kuroo wanted to see how long it would take for Kenma to give up and beg for a piggyback ride. Just as he expected, Kenma gave up rather quickly. In fact, he started begging not even 5 minutes after asking the first time.
"Kuroo...I can't feel my legs...please?" Kenma stared at the sidewalk as his voice got quiet.
"Ahh, sorry, I didn't quite get that last bit, what did you say, Kenma?"
"Please..." Kenma muttered under his breath.
"Huh? What was that?" Kuroo smirked as Kenma started to blush.
"Please...carry me..." Kenma said, just above a whisper.
"Aww, Kenma you're so cute when you blush," Kuroo smirked as he crouched down and waited for Kenma to get on.
Kenma quickly jumped onto Kuroo's back and wrapped his arms around the taller boys' neck. "Thanks, Kuroo..."
"No problem, babe," He said, turning his head to smirk at Kenma.
Kenma ignored his last comment and just enjoyed the ride home. But as soon as it was silent between the two, Kuroo started talking again. Mainly about Karasuno and how he couldn't wait to beat them again. Kuroo's deep voice made Kenma sleepy, so he tried to rest his head down and sleep, but of course, Kuroo didn't want that.
"Hey, hey, falling asleep so easily? What happened to all that energy at practice?" He turned his head at an awkward angle to get a better look at Kenma.
"I used it all up practicing...especially running...my thighs hurt.." Kenma mumbled into Kuroo's neck, not looking up at the other male.
"Oho? Your thighs hurt, huh? I can massage them for you~" Kuroo smirked at the sleepy boy on his back.
"Maybe later. Let me sleep first..." he couldn't help but smile a bit when he saw how excited Kuroo got when he said that. He's such a child. Kuroo walked home as fast as he could without disturbing the sleeping setter on his back, and enjoyed the quiet noises of Kenma breathing.
