Dear Diary,

A lot of things happened today. I moved from Alabama to Minnesota and I bought you to write down all my pent up feelings I typically keep in.

Anyways, I went to a new High School, since I'm fifteen, but luckily I'm a freshman so I didn't even start that grade at my old school.

Since moved, I was forced to make friends for the situation. If you know me, I act outgoing, but I'm actually shy. I had a tough time talking to people so I sat alone at lunch time. Luckily, a kind girl slid next to me. "Hi!" she chirped happily.

"Hi," I said shyly, "I'm Macy. Whats your name?". She smiled.

"Don't be shy! I was but I like forcing myself into situations I am not comfortable in!" she explained, "anyways, my name is Kitten." I then looked at her. I smiled.

"That's a nice name, do you know why you were named Kitten?" I asked her. I remember rubbing my chin and doing the 'huh?' face I love to do when confused.

"Actually, I do!" Kitten smiled, "its because at a young age, my parents looked at me and could sense the vibe that I love kittens. I guess they were right because I love kittens today!".

"That's cool."

After that I went to all of my classes and tried my best. Since I didn't join band, orchestra, choir, dance, or any club, I had to go into an academic creativeness class that other schools don't commonly have. The whole day was boring, but gym was weird.

As I was walking confused to what I think was the fitness room, a tall, muscular guy winked flirtatiously at me. I did my best to ignore the overconfident fellow when I saw the clock and noticed I was late. I started running, heart racing and pounding out of my chest when a red headed girl stopped me. She had freckles covering her pale cheeks.

"Don't run in the hallway!" she said, hand out, "its not safe."

"What are you? The hall monitor?!" I asked. She held up a fake badge signed by the school principal, assistant principal, and office lady, you know, the teachers of importance.

"As you can see, I am," she stated, "now please walk to the class you are trying to urgently get too."

Ring!

"Too late now, I'm late!"

"Are you new here?" the red head asked me. I nod. "They give exceptions to new students since they don't know any better. I hope I taught you a lesson in the element of safety. Continue." I nodded and rolled my eyes. I fast walked to the class instead.

"That girl acted like miss innocent and miss i care about your safety," I thought, "but I think shes faking it. She seems like she has an evil side."

I am partially super nosy so I have to know. I ignore the feeling inside of me and get bubbles of fear explaining to my gym teacher why I was late. I changed into my gym clothes and found my gym locker to lock them up in. I left the locker room and saw everybody roughly throwing balls at each other. I guess they were playing dodge ball but people were falling on the floor in pain since hit by the ball. I ran in and participated. I tried my best but wasn't that good. Suddenly, a ball hit my stomach roughly. I fell to the floor and groaned in pain.

"Sorry," the same guy who winked at me said. He helped me up and smiled.

"You don't mean that sorry, do you?" I say, putting my hands on my hips, my forehead covered in a layer of wet droopy sweat.

"Wow," the guy said, "where'd you find that out Captain Obvious!".

"You're such a sarcastic twerp!" I spat at him.

"And you are such a cutie!" he winked.

"Shut up!" I rolled my eyes as I walked as far away from him as possible.

Thanks for listening and letting me vent,

Macy
