I was on YouTube, listening to sad songs, and reading some of the comments. I read this comment that inspired me to write this one shot. It's similar to Back From Underground, but with be different as well.
I'm always here, for her. She's with all these guys, and I'm here when her heart breaks, to hide her bruises, to hug her as she cries.
"Jay-Jayden," she whispered, as she entered my room. She hugged me, and I didn't speak as I hugged her back. It was the same every time. She had been in a date with Charles MacKensly, and came back with bruises. Just like every other guy she's dated, he abuses her as well. She always falls for the wrong guy, and I'm always there to pick up the pieces.
"What did he do?" I asked, as I rubbed her back.
"H-he said I-I was fl-flirting w-with the w-waiter," she cried. She looked at me with a broken look. Then I knew I was in love with her.
"You have to break up with him," I told her, as I stared into her eyes.
"I-I can't."
"Please, he doesn't deserve you."
"I can't, Jayden. I love him." My heart shattered. I tried not to show it. She left my arms, and my room.
Three weeks later, Charles broke up with her. She was heart broken. Two weeks, Wesley Lance asked her out.
She said yes. I really hoped he was different. The next day, I found out he was just like the other guys. That was her fifth abusive relationship, and I had enough.
"You can't choose a good guy," I told her.
"Why are you against all the guys I date?" she asked me, her voice accusing.
"They always hurt you!"
"No, they don't!"
"Every guys has hit you! You come home with bruises and crying!"
"Shut up! You don't know anything!"
"You are so blind!"
"Fuck you Jayden."
"I love you. I've loved you for a while," I told her.
She looked at me, her eyes full of tears. "You can't love me."
"Why? Tell me why."
"You're too good for me."
I was shocked. "Jayden, I don't think we should be friends." With that she left.
I watched her leave. Was that why she was with these guys, because she wasn't good enough?
"You are good enough, and I'll prove it to you, Emily."
I will continue it if y'all want me to, at least five people wanting me to continue. If not, it's a one-shot.
