Flashback

"There is going to be a masquerade at school tomorrow, Kallen…" Her mother said with a huge grin. Uh oh Kallen thought this usually meant that there was something e-v-i-l in her mind.

"What do you want!?" She said annoyingly. And then her eyes went wide when her mother took out a rose red dress with deep gold trimmings that showed of a lot of her cleavage, "What's that for!!!" She screamed.

"Why it's the dress you're going to wear" Her mom said evilly.

"Jeez, that's harsh!!" Kallen's friend Milly said to her the next day when Kallen had told her about what had happened. "Well at least you get to come!!!!" Kallen just rolled her eyes and headed down the hallway with Milly talking about random girl things.

When Kallen entered the classroom a boy with jet black hair, strikingly purple eyes and a smirk on his face. Kallen glared at him with no concern whatsoever about what he would do next, but the next thing she found was being shaken uncontrollably by Shirley.

"Shirley, what the heck are you doing??!!" Kallen asked.

"You were in a daze Kallen and you looked like you were about to puke!!!!" Shirley yelled.

"Ugh… Shirly calm down, I'm all right," Kallen assured her.

"Hmmm… Okay," she said then turned back to her seat a worried look on her face. After that everything seemed like a blur to Kallen. After she packed all her stuff Lelouch went to her gave her a smirk.

"I'll see you later," He said and left without a word. Kallen glanced back and walked home her thoughts wandering of to her knightmare.

"Mom I'm back!!!!" She yelled.

"Okay dear, Dinner is in the fridge and the ball won't be 'till 5 hours from now." Her mom yelled back Kallen rolled her eyes and went to her room. 3:00 perfect she said then she went to the bathroom and took a quick bath and slept.

"Jeez Louise, wake up!!!!" Kallen's mother shook her daughter with so much force Kallen had to just surrender.

"What mom?" She asked bluntly. Her mother grabbed her and dressed her in the dress and kicked her out, well that's a way to treat her daughter. Without hesitation Kallen walked to school. As soon as she walked into the door with a mask she picked up from the entrance everyone hushed… What the heck why is everyone sooooo quiet??? She said her blood red mask glimmering in the half dim room. And as soon as the crowd parted she found out what was happening Lelouch Lamprouge had just entered the building. She walked towards a platform with silver and purple trimmings and tried to be as invisible as ever, Lelouch eyes just couldn't help but look at her.

Lelouch danced the night a way spying on a girl he tried to guess on who she was; of course Kallen didn't know that the girl he was spying on was her she just dreamed the night away. When it was 11:30 every girl had crowded lelouch to dance with him (What a surprise) Milly and the others made a way so that Lelouch wouldn't get trampled over by them and then lelouch walked towards Kallen. Everyone hushed… WHAT THE HECK????? Kallen thought as soon as she regained consciousness from her dream and saw Lelouch walk towards her. Shirley was boiling mad and Milly had to calm her down. When Lelouch was near Kallen he kneeled to the ground with one leg took her hand and kissed it.

"Will you dance with me my fair maiden?" He asked with that no good smirk on his face.
