Chapter 1: How do I ask?
-I gotta do this! That's right. I'm gonna do it! I need to ask Jinora to the dance- The young airbender swallowed his fear and fixed his messy hair. On his way outside Kai couldn't stop talking to himself . "Alright You got this Kai. You can do it! I mean.. What can so hard about this?" He cracked his hands and walked proudly away until….
"What's so hard Kai?" Jinora asked curiously as she popped up behind him. He jumped up and nearly flew.
" OHHH- He-yy Jinora" He stuttered as his hands went behind his head. -SPIRTS! DID SHE HEAR WHAT I SAID!? CAN SHE READ MY THOUGHTS! I reallly hope not. But she's so beautiful, I can't stop looking at her- Kai began to blush due his thoughts and stood silent till Jinora spoke up.
"Uhh Kai? Are you okay?" She noticed him blushing. A goofy smile came across her face. Kai snapped out of it and realized that he has completely forgotten what he was suppose to do.
"Yeahhh.. Im fine Jin, don't worry!" He said with a huge smile on face. She smiled in return, and blushed even more. They stood in silence. -ASK HER YOU PRICK!- He gulped and played with his fingers trying to avoid eye contact as much as possible "I was w-wondering if you would wanna go-
"KAI. JINORA. WHAT ARE YOU DOING ALONE?!"
-Are you serious? Did stiff butt have to interrupt?-
"Its time for practice. Let's go" Tenzin demanded as he walked away.
"Im sorry Kai, but whatever it was, we can talk about it after class!" Jinora gave him a peck on the cheek and ran to practice. Kai's face lit up like a christmas lit and his legs lost their feeling. He snapped out of it eventually to realized what had just happened. He kicked the wall and hated myself.
"WHY AM I SO BAD AT ASKING HER?" He screamed. Few minutes he forced himself up, and ran to practice. Maybe he could actually get the right words out then.
