AN: Alright so Cassie and I were talking and in her Back to Love story, she had Moody marry Remus and Tonks. I found this absolutely hilarious, but unfortunately she didn't write the actual ceremony so I kinda stole her idea and wrote this! Moody marries the Lupins! In case you didn't get that before… Anyway! Alright so I don't have much else, but Moody! Man he's a hoot… so sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Remus smiled at Dora as she walked down the aisle. It wasn't much, but she had agreed to marry him and they didn't want to wait. They had both wished that more people, like Harry, could have been there, but there was a war going on. Unfortunately the only person they could find to marry them was Moody. Someone really didn't want them to get married.
Dora smiled at Remus as she stepped beside him and they turned to Moody. Let the fun begin.
"Well we better all know by now why we're here." Remus and Dora shot Moody a look. "Alright, alright. Friends and family of these two, we gather here today to see them get married." Dora and Remus shared a look. Well it was better than nothing. "Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin wish to share their lives together and after watching them for so long I have to say it's about time! Even if we have to say on our guards. CONSTANT VIGILANCE!" Everyone at the wedding jumped. Not that there were many people there, but still…
"Nymphadora and Remus are perfect for one another. One is eccentric and out there while the other is down to Earth and grounded. Perhaps someone will finally be able to tame her." Dora's hair flashed red before returning to its natural brown. "And the two of them will be able to maintain CONSTANT VIGILANCE!" Once again everyone jumped. Remus wanted to groan. This was so not how he pictured his wedding and he was sure Padfoot and Prongs were watching this and laughing their butts off.
"Well let's get down to business. Did you two come here of your own will and not under the influence of the imperious curse?" Dora bit her lip to keep from laughing and Remus dropped his head.
"Yes, Mad-Eye" he muttered. Moody nodded.
"Good. Can never be too careful, eh? CONSTANT VIGILANCE!" Remus made a protesting noise in the back of his throat, but Moody continued on. "Do you, Nymphadora, take Remus to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, to love and to cherish, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, from this day forward, until death do you part?" Dora nodded and grabbed Remus' ring from Moody and slid it on her husband's finger.
"I do." Moody turned to Remus.
"Do you, Remus, take Nymphadora to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, to love and to cherish, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, from this day forward, until death do you part?" Remus nodded.
"I do." He slid the wedding band on to Dora's finger and both turned back to Moody, who looked suspiciously like he was crying. He sniffed and looked at the two.
"Is there anyone here stupid enough to try and stop these two from getting married?" There was silence. "Good. Now by the powers that be go forth into the world as husband and wife. Don't forget the most important rule: CONSTANT VIGILANCE!" Dora laughed as Remus kissed her and they ran off down the aisle, Moody still muttering about the lack of 'constant vigilance', but the Lupin's couldn't have cared less. They were married. In the midst of a war, this was their beacon of hope. Each other.
Moody just happened to be the entertainment.
