Luna's First Day
Hi, it's Echo here! So I was checking the Dumbledore's Army forums, (something i do a lot) and one of my friends Restruction wants to read some Harry Potter fanfiction, so I decided to write a one-shot! I was re-reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and I was at the part where Percy was taking the first-year Gryffindors to the common room, and I thought, Hey! How will we ever know what happens to the other houses! So, naturally I'm going to write a one-shot about Luna's first day! After all, she is one of my fav characters, and she is a Ravenclaw! Anyways, on with the one-shot!
"I can't wait to see the Nargles!" Luna said, as she was A sixth-year girl nearby smirked at her.
"Ah, so you are the Loony Lovegood." More sixth-year girls surrounded the first one. "Your dad is Xenophilius Lovegood, correct?"
"Yes, and I'm very proud of that fact," Luna replied dreamily. The girl smirked again, her blue eyes glaring at her.
"Well then, your father is nothing but a lying, crazy old goat!"
"No he's not!" Luna glared at her. "What's your name anyways?"
"My name is Krystal," she said, tossing her platinum blond hair behind her shoulder. "But anyways, he is! All that nonsense about Helicopter Paths and Mumble Hornet Snores!"
"It's Heliopaths and Crumple-Horned Snorkacks! And just because you've never seen them, doesn't mean that they don't exist!" Krystal rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, right." As Luna opened her mouth to retort back, someone spoke up.
"Stop teasing her!" A third-year Chinese girl glared at the gang. She grabbed Luna by the shoulders, and steered her away. "My name is Cho." Luna looked at Cho.
"Thank you! The name is Luna." Cho smiled.
"Well, welcome to the Ravenclaw Common Room Luna! Have you been up to the dormitories yet?"
"No," Luna replied. "I sure would love to see it, though."
"Then follow me." Luna gratefully followed Cho, glancing behind her to see Krystal and her gang looking shocked.
Ugh, I am so bad at writing long one-shots. Oh well, it was just a small one, since I just wanted Restruction to have just a little one-shot. After all, a lot of people told him about other fanfiction. Also, Elements of the Clans is up for adoption! Buh bye, and don't touch peroxide!
