"Aniki!"
"What the hell," muttered a sleepy Levi.
Sniff.
Levi turned to see his little red-headed sister standing next to his bed, clad in a large white night gown with her messy hair down, clutching a pillow to her chest, her emerald eyes and red cheeks wet from crying.
"What is it?" he asked, looking over at the clock, "It's two in the morning."
"Nightmare," she mumbled.
He sighed, his gaze softening at her explanation for waking him up at this ungodly hour. His eyes shifted upwards when he heard Farlan mumble and move in his bed above.
"What's going on?" the blonde asked, hanging his head down.
"Nightmare," Isabel repeated.
Farlan climbed down and pulled her into a hug, and Isabel clenched her fists around his black shirt and lightly sobbed as he rubbed circles into her back in comfort. He looked up at Levi, who responded knowingly. Farlan moved Isabel towards Levi and they settled her into the middle of the bed. She snuggled into the blankets, hugging her pillow closer to her. Farlan crawled past the two, his back against the wall and pulled Isabel towards him once more, spooning her. Levi put his arms around his two siblings and they all drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, the other members of their squad found the trio, with Farlan curled around Isabel, his head resting on her outstretched arm, his own arm around her waist, while Levi protectively blocked the two from harm, his forehead touching Isabel's.
Levi woke up from the flashback. He lightly smiled as he remember the happy days he spent with Farlan and Isabel, in the underground and in the city above and the nights when he made sure they were both safe and sound before he fell asleep himself. He missed them and he could feel the tears coming up, but he knows that no matter what, nothing could separate them. Not even death.
So, I just finished watching OVA 5 of SNK and I'm depressed so I pulled this out while drowning in my tears of sorrow. Based off of a picture I found of the three, link in my profile. ~Kurosaki Mikoto ;-;
