The Train
Hi, it's Echo here! So I was on DA, and there is a new book club! Obviously I joined, and basically what you do is that a new topic is posted every two weeks, and you can write a short story or a poem about it. Then, it is posted in the book club room! You have to apply to get in, and you might not get in but I did! Anyways, the current topic is about Your First Experience Here at Hogwarts. Anyways, on with the story!
"EMERGESH I CAN'T WAIT!" I shouted as I ran into Platform Nine and Three Quarters. The platform was so crowded with people, I couldn't believe I could fit in! "I MEAN SUSHI, COME ON! THIS IS EXCITING!"
"YEAH IT IS!" Sushi replied happily. "I CAN'T WAIT!"
"Sushi, calm down," Mrs. Pye said. "We don't want to make a spectacle of ourselves.
"BUT IT IS SO EXCITING!" Sushi yelled.
"I KNOW, RIGHT?!" I screamed. Suddenly, people were pointing at something scarlet as a train whistle sounded. The Hogwarts Express had arrived!
"Best to get ready to get on," Mum said. She wiped a tear rolling down her cheek. "Children grow so fast."
"Exactly," Sushi's mum said. She started to cry also.
"BYE MUM!"Sushi squealed as she ran to the train.
"Hey, wait for me!" I ran after her. Our mums followed, chatting. Sushi eagerly climbed the steps onto the train.
"You forgot your trunk!" Sushi's mum handed her a bright blue trunk. My mum also handed me my brown one.
"Now, do be careful at Hogwarts, ok?"
"Of course Mum!" I squeaked. We boarded the train.
Timeskip~
"My name is Professor McGonagall. When you enter the Great Hall, come up to the chair when your name is called. Then, put on the hat.
After a long time, my name was finally called.
"Mist, Echo!" I went up to the stool and put on the hat.
"Hmm… You are very clever, better be… RAVENCLAW!" I hurried over to the Ravenclaw table. A girl with dark brown hair welcomed me.
"Welcome to Ravenclaw!" She said.
"Thanks!" I replied.
"Pye, Sushi!" I quickly turned my head to see Sushi putting on the hat.
"HUFFLEPUFF!" The hat shouted. I let out a tiny groan.
"Darn it!" I watched as Sushi went over to the Hufflepuff table, glancing at me sadly. Food appeared at the table. A man was at the head of the table.
"I am Headmaster Felix," The man said. "Now, I don't want to stop you with a lengthy speech, so eat!" I immediately piled food onto my plate. It tasted good.
How you like? I can't wait for two weeks to be over! I really want to write something else on DA! At least I have my fan fiction account! I'm gonna go work on Chapter 9 of RotS! Buh bye, and don't touch peroxide!
