Who Cares?
Chapter One: When We First Met
"Shadow do you even remember how we first met?" I finally asked him the question that had been on my mind for about two minutes. What can I say? I'm straightforward.
".. A little bit, I guess." I sighed, of course he didn't his memory had been erased three times.
"Alright, let me explain…"
"Hello, Knux!" I screamed tackling him from the air. "Oh, hi Rouge."
"Still guarding this lame emerald?"
I giggled as his face changed from happy to anger in a matter of seconds.
"This emerald isn't 'lame'! Besides that it's called the master emerald. Get it right." I laughed at him. "Well, just in case you were wondering I saw a new kid walking around the angel island today."
Knuckles looked at me, shocked. "What? But the emerald would have glowed if he been invited.. He must have been intruding!"
I rolled my eyes. "Maybe he came on accident?" I reasoned playing with one of my stolen diamond earrings.
"No way! He's intruding! And I'll show him a thing or two about trying to take MY emerald."
"Master emerald" I corrected, poking it.
"Just help me find this guy!" I rolled my eyes again. "Jeez! You have anger issues, Knux!" I said walking off and turning my head to look at him. "Aren't you coming?" He smiled as I lead him to Shadow.
"Look there he is! Oh, he's cute!"
"Rouge, stay focused!"
I giggled as I floated over to Shadow. He was much bigger close up.
"Hi, I'm Rouge, my friend," I pointed at Knuckles, who was in our previous hiding spot, behind a bush. "Seems to think you're trespassing. But I know you're nice! So just go tell him that, k?" I said in a demanding little girl voice.
He looked down at me, smiling, and then he glared at Knuckles.
"Oh really? Well I'll just show him who this island belongs to..."

A/N Hello, it's been a while, hasn't it? Ok anyway… I love sonic, I admit it. I'm addicted. This is a Shadouge story but it will have some Knuxouge and of course SonAmy, and maybe if I feel like it, Knuxadow and Sonadow. :D 3 – is supposed to be a heart but I bet fanficition made it a "3" anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
