She gets that he likes her.
She gets it!
Snivy sighed, typing away at her laptop once again, under the shade of her favorite tree. The autumn breeze was practically perfect for some outdoor research, so she was sitting against it and just typing away and doing her basic I-am-so-genius ritual by saying "ha" at other accomplished scientist's face, to show that she wasn't a big wannabe scientist, that she actually had the brains for it. She puffed her cheeks, when she came across a puzzling question, but instantly did some research, thought up of some theories, jotted them down and got solid proof for it. It would work out all the time, it was basically going perfect.
Except for him, that is.
She got that he liked her, trying to impressive her with unimpressive, stupid, stunts that only summed up to one word to her: childish. She'd glare at him every single time he came up to her and did something stupid, distracting her from her research, with the it's-not-funny face, but he doesn't get the message.
She gasped slightly before narrowing her eyes when a bucket of autumn leaves were sprayed in front of her face. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists, whipping around to give Oshawott an earful.
"Can you just leave me alone?!" she growled at him, shutting her laptop close. "I'm trying to be productive here! Go away! Shoo!"
He seemed pretty surprised at her outburst, but apparently he thought she liked the kind of guys who had a backbone. She did, but she didn't like annoying guys. The stupid sea otter didn't seem to get it.
"No."
She would have punched him in the face, or even summon up a Leaf Storm at him, but she quietly picked up her laptop and stormed away to find another suitable spot for her researching, one that wouldn't disturb her. She was radiating a horrible aura, one that put Yveltal's Dark Aura to shame.
When Snivy saw that he wasn't giving up yet, she pulled yet another card at him. One that would make him so terrified he might as well drop off a cliff.
"I'm gonna tell Bulbasaur."
Bulbasaur, leader of the first stage starters, was in charge of giving out punishments when need be. Other first stage starters were free to complain to him, and he'd punish anyone who was harassing another.
When Oshawott put on that crap face, Snivy thought for sure he'd stop bothering her. And then that smirk—that smirk—came across his face.
"Bulbasaur is out in Kanto to take care of some problems."
"Crap." Snivy didn't have any problems voicing her thoughts out loud. "Will doing something make you quit bothering me?"
"Yup."
"Please tell me that one."
"Let's go on a date, then!"
Snivy glared at him, wondering is this not already a date when he was bothering her so much, but kept the sarcastic comment to herself. "Fine! Tomorrow."
"Today!"
"Tomorrow," Snivy repeated huffily. "You're already distracting me from my research, go away! I'll go and bother you tomorrow! Just get out!"
She held no liking for him whatsoever. He was a disturbance to her.
She could see him grin triumphantly and nod, then walk away. She grimaced. She'd just make some lame excuse the next day to avoid the—ahem—"date" of sorts. Whatever. She didn't care, so long as it would temporarily get away from him.
She'd always be a scientist begging for some peace, but she didn't care.
