Persuasive
"Oh my god, Delphiiiine!" The blonde was out of bed in a flash, rushing to the door where Cosima was entering, shaking off the rain from her coat.
"Yes ma cherie? What's wrong? Did something happen?" Delphine looked Cosima over but she couldn't find any reason for why the brunette had called her, sounding out of breath.
Cosima looked up at Delphine with a sheepish grin and the taller woman raised an eyebrow.
"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." Cosima said, but her face gave away the fact that she was not sorry at all.
"It's fine." Delphine said, suspicious of the sheepish expression and sparkle in Cosima's eyes.
"Sooooo..." Cosima said slowly, standing on her toes to give Delphine a soft kiss, now the blonde was truly suspicious.
"What did you do now?" Delphine asked and Cosima giggled before unbuttoning her coat with one hand. Delphine only now noticing the slight bulge under it and how only one arm was in a sleeve.
"Don't be mad..." Cosima said quickly and Delphine narrowed her eyes.
"Spit it out!" Delphine said exasperated and Cosima opened her coat, a cheeky grin plastered on her face, tongue poking out slightly. Delphine looked down.
"Merde..."
"So can I keep him?" The brunette said and Delphine looked at her seriously.
"Cosima we live in an apartment, we don't have the space..." Cosima was giving her the full on pout and wide eyes expression and Delphine lost her train of thought, with a soft "Merde" under her breath the tall woman closed her eyes, taking a deep breath before looking at her girlfriend again.
"Fine, yes." Delphine sighed in defeat and Cosima fist pumped the air with her free hand before giving Delphine a one armed hug.
"Great! So I was thinking that I want to name him Darwin, but you like totes have a say in the matter..." Cosima said and Delphine chuckled.
"Darwin sounds fine."
Cosima put the newest member of their household down on the floor and the puppy immediately wiggled over to Delphine, the immunologist bent down and scratched the little fluff ball behind the ears and Cosima smiled.
"He likes you!" Delphine couldn't help but smile at the puppy who was trying to chew on her fingers.
"What breed is he and how big do they get?" Delphine stood up again to face Cosima who now had a nervous look on her face.
"Yeah the thing about that is... He's kind of a German Shepard so umm about yay big..." Cosima said, motioning with her hands the height and Delphine's eyes widened.
"Merde Cosima!" She cursed.
"But it's cool you know, we just have to like make sure he gets enough exercise and stuff... Maybe teach him to crap in the toilet." Delphine laughed as she pictured that and Cosima smiled at her.
"What", she asked and Delphine shook her head.
"Tu es adorable." the blonde said pulling her girlfriend into a kiss.
"Is that a yes?" Cosima asked with a playful grin and Delphine laughed.
"Oui."
