I look down at the boy before our council and lick my lips. Never before have I smelled anything so divine as his blood. The intoxicating bouquet drives me near madness. I can feel the venom welling up in my mouth as Aro speaks his piece before we decide what to do.
"I want that one." I say promptly. "I'll change him."
"Whatever you wish, my dear friend." Aro replies.
Marcus merely nods. They never argue when I declare ones I want it so openly. I descend like the creature of night I am, and revel in changing my singer.
