Ryu's Nightmare
He could not wake from his dream. In his dream he was a child being chased by a man who's face was burned, and had claws on his hands.
"Come brat. I will tear you apart you little bastard."
The nightmare chased him into a wall of Shadows. The nightmare raised his claws.
Ryu felt himself regain his bravery and punched him away. He was again a man and went into fighting position. "You will not beat me."
"Forget it! You can't beat a fucking nightmares."
"Yes I can."
Ryu kicked the nightmare but the nightmare was suddenly behind him. The nightmare slashed Ryu in the back.
Ryu fell back to the ground as a Kid. The nightmare smiled and raised his claws.
"It is time to die, fucker."
"Stop," said an unseen speaker. His voice made anger and fear swell within Ryu.
"You have been in my ground long enough. Return to the Elm Street, or I will return you to Hell."
"Who are you?"
The symbal of "Ten" flared all around the nightmare.
The demon Akuma stepped into the light and with little more then gurgle, he killed the nightmare.
"There is no nightmare. Only devils, and soon you will become that in which you hate."
Ryu awoke.
