Disclaimer: The following concept is based on another one shot which features Jason and Kat. However, I do not own the characters or now the actors who portray them, so please don't sue. If you must, be kind and review, no flames.
It was eleven o'clock in the evening and Katherine Hillard and her friend Jason Lee Scott were watching a movie. Kat rented the movie Dirty Dancing which she absolutely loved because of one reason – Patrick Swayze. However, Jason didn't mind it was a chick flick movie, but just watched it with his friend.
"Remind me why again you rented this?" Jason said looking at his friend. In the last week, Katherine and Jason had made a bet on a movie they'd want to see on the weekend. He looked at Kat as she watched the movie. She was in deep thoughts as she watched the dances as well as drooling over the actor.
"Because a bet's a bet Jase." She replied, looking at him. The bet was one girly movie, Jason's choice, but to Kat's surprise, Jason had picked out Dirty Dancing. As she looked at him, he made a face making her giggle.
"So tell me, who's cuter – Patrick or me?" Jason said breaking the ice. He paused the movie and looked at her ocean blue eyes.
"Patrick Swayze, of course." Kat teased as she stuck her tongue out. She retrieved the remote and unpaused the movie. Jason whimpered and paused the movie again.
"Is that so?" Jason replied hiding the remote. As they faced each other, Jason leaned in and kissed her softly. Kat returned the kiss but pulled away.
Kat smirked and looked at Jason, "Wow." She looked at him and kissed him again. Suddenly, instant sparks came between the two.
"Did we just kiss?" Jason said in reply smiling. He knew his first kiss with Kat had to be special. He looked at her again but without hesitation, kissed her again.
After a couple minutes of kissing, they gazed into each other's eyes. Kat laid her head on Jason's shoulder as they continued watching the movie. He gently stroked her blonde hair as he kissed her forehead.
(1:30 a.m.)
"Thanks for the movie Kat. Maybe next time we can watch Too Fast, Too Furious." Jason said as he was about to leave. Kat nodded and smiled.
"You're on." She replied looking at Jason again. Before Jason left, he stood by the doorway of Kat's apartment.
"Kitty, quick question for you." Jason asked.
"Alright." Kat replied.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" The dark-haired former Red and Gold Ranger asked her.
Katherine nodded and wrapped her arms around Jason. He kissed her softly as his arms were wrapped around her waist. Momentarily, both had pulled away and Jason pecked his new girlfriend on the lips.
"See you tomorrow." Jason responded. Kat closed the door behind her and smiled.
"All he had to do is say it right then and there." She said to herself. The former Pink Zeo and Turbo Ranger smiled and anticipated the next day to come with her gold knight.
She yawned and prepared herself for bed. Another day was ahead of her, but another new chapter had begun for her and Jason. They were now more than friends, but a couple. A crazy couple in love.
