"Come on, Harry; it's time for you to get a new owl." Draco said pulling Harry towards the emporium.

"I don't know. I'm still not over Hedwig."

Draco rubbed Harry's back. "I know. And no other owl can ever replace her; but you can make room in your heart."

"You just don't want me using your owl anymore."

"It's not that. It's just, she hates you. Look at your fingers."

Harry looked down at his hands. He had six bandages on both hands from where Draco's owl had bitten him in the past week.
Harry sighed and walked in the door. Owls hooted at the couple as they passed. harry looked around and saw a snowy, black spotted owl. Harry's eyes widened.

"Draco, look." He said pointing at the owl.

"Whoa."

"I want that one." He stated.

"Are you sure?" Draco questioned. "It looks too much like-"

"And that's precisely why I want it."

"But-"

Harry ignored Draco and walked over to the bird. The owl hooted and batted it's wings. Harry slowly stuck out a finger to stroke its head. The owl leaned its head against the cage and rubbed his finger. Harry gasped and picked up the cage, taking it to the check out counter. The cashier rang Harry up and handed him the papers to the owl.

Harry and Draco walked down the road back to their flat.

"I'm glad you talked me into this," Harry said happily.

"You're welcome. So what are you going to name him?"

Harry thought a moment.

"Hedwig the Second."

"Of course." Draco muttered.

He still thought it was a bad idea for Harry to get an owl almost exactly like Hedwig the First.
