Cath's eyes popped out of her head and her jaw dropped. She put down the book her eyes had been glued to for the past six hours and stared at the room in front of her, unable to process what had just happened. After a moment of shocked silence, she reached for her phone and called Wren.
Wren was only four chapters away from the end of the best book ever when her phone rang, shocking her out of her Simon Snow induced trance. Grumbling at the interruption (Simon had been battling the Humdrum!), she reached out and glanced at who was calling. Shit. It was Cath, and that could only mean one thing: she had finished the book and SOMETHING had happened. Gritting her teeth, Wren tried t think of what she could do. If she answered the phone, Cath would spoil the ending before she could even get a word in, if she didn't, her sister would continue to call until she picked up, ruining her Simon Snow time, neither of which sounded like much fun. Thinking for a moment, she decided perhaps a text could save her.

Throwing her phone aside without waiting for a response, Wren picked up Simon Snow and the Eighth Dance,ready to finish in peace.
Cath didn't know what to do. Wren was still reading, Levi hadn't started yet (Cath had agreed to read it out loud to him when she was done) and Reagan wasn't going to read it. There was only one option left. Grabbing her laptop, She went to one of her favorite SnowBaz forums and prepared to fangirl about the absolutely wonderful thing that had just happened. After aBout half an hour of talking with fellow SnowBaz shippers online, there was a knock on the door. She was about to get up and see who it was, when the door flew open revealing a rather insane, out of breath looking Wren. "Just finished." She said walking over to Cath. for a few seconds they stood staring at each other, then they let out a loud scream.
"IT HAPPENED!" Yelled Cath, almost crying "IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED!" they danced wildly about the room before settling down and going together to post a final Author's Note at the end of Carry on, Simon. It was only three words long, but they were possibly the best three words Cath had ever seen in her life.
IT BECAME CANON!
