Chapter 1
The Passing
"Kaa-san, Kaa-san. Hurry up!" A young Kagome called.
Kagome was a usually a very patient child. But for some strange reason she had a feeling something very very good was going to happen today. And because of this feeling she was rather impatient to get to the park.
"Hai, hai, Kagome just let me get Sota's stroller." Replied Kagome's mother Kun-Loon.
"I'll carry Sota" Her only reply was Sota clapping his hands and smiling at his big sis.
"Alright, just be careful." Kun-Loon warned. She handed her Sota and they began the long trek of shrine steps to the park.
"Hm" a young boy stopped walking down the sidewalk to stare at the sky. He had this strange feeling ever since he woke up. He didn't know what to call this feeling, but whatever it was made him anxious. Blinking from the bright sun he vaguely noticed a young girl with a woman he assumed was her mother, and a baby pass by him. As they passed he turned around and watched the girl.
Kagome was walking happily with her mother and baby brother. When she noticed a boy around her age, just standing in the middle of the side walk looking at the sky. As she passed she felt his eyes follow her. She turned and looked back, halting her mother as she did. Not wanting to seem rude, Kagome bowed to the boy and gave him a small smile, all the while holding Sota tightly. Before she continued walking with her mother and brother to their destination. The boy merely watched the girl as she left and gave a small incline of his head, and started walking.
