- Baby Steps -
"John, hurry!" Mary's voice hushed, but urgent. He moved quickly.
Stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Dean standing in the middle of the living room.
Mary looked so proud, so loving. He knew he'd missed those first precious steps.
John dropped to his knees, determined to share the moment.
"Come to Daddy."
And Dean did.
Huge eyes so full of love and devotion that it scared the crap out of John on most days.
Dean stumbled as he reached his goal.
Was lifted high in strong arms and the deep rumble of his daddy's laugh.
"That's my boy."
