A/N: I own nothing, so shoo. Enjoy!
Kuroko was on his way home from basketball practice when he heard a buzz. He ignored it for a few seconds before realizing that it was his phone.
Strange. I thought I left it at home.
He fumbled in his bag, searching for it and soon, his hands touched something rectangular. He pulled it out. He stared at the shiny silver flip phone before opening it. He frowned slightly after reading the text he had gotten and was about to close his phone when Kagami popped up from who-knows-where with a plastic bag full of wrapped cheeseburgers. One such cheeseburger was sitting unwrapped on the palm of his hand.
"'Was ron 'uro'o? (What's wrong, Kuroko?)" he asked, mouth full.
"Nothing is wrong, Kagami-kun," the phantom replied, stealthily sneaking the phone into his bag.
"'Was 'hat? (What's that?)"
Or not so stealthily.
"Gnoewgno," the red-head mumbled incoherently and was maneuvering through the phone before Kuroko could stop him.
*Bzzzt*
A message popped up on the screen. Kagami made to give the phone back to its rightful owner when he glimpsed something intriguing on it. In an extremely disturbing way.
On the tiny screen was a picture of a tanned man in a school uniform. Bits of his chest was visible because the guy's clothes was shredded violently. He was propped up on the wall of a dark dirty alley. A single ray of sunshine shone on him, revealing a badly bent arm and a face full of deep cuts and red bruises. It also revealed that the darkish liquid surrounding the man was red. Kagami paled when he realized that the man was sitting in a pool of his own blood.
Below the picture was some text.
"I found this guy snooping around your house, but don't worry! I took care of him! ;)"
"K-Kuroko," Kagami's voice was shaking, "What the hell is this?"
Kuroko sighed, but obliged in answering.
"A stranger keeps messaging me, but I can take care of it. What did he send this time?"
The returnee from America considered lying to him, but in the end, tilted the phone screen towards the impassive bluenette.
Kuroko instantly paled. "Aomine-kun," he whispered in shock, before he ran off.
Kagami was still frozen on the spot. Little by little, he regained control over his limbs.
"Hey! Kuroko! Wait up!"
A/N: THIS WAS FREAKING SUPPOSED TO BE INNOCENT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FLUFFY. THIS ISN'T FLUFFY. *cries* I'm sorry Aomine...
This chapter is unexpectedly short...but it seems like a good hook to me. :D Further chapters will be longer, promise. That is, if I can find a plot I'm satisfied with.
