Entry 1: Medikoopa Medikoopas look just like any white-robed Magikoopa, but their hat sports a red plus on the front. I have managed to talk to one in a Starbeans, and she said that it was some sort of symbol for health. Also, it helped to tell the Medikoopas from the White Magikoopas. Instead of a wand, Medikoopas use nonmagical healing techniques. Well, most of them. There is a subdevison of Medikoopas that can cast restorative spells. They call these "Magekoopas" or "Healer Koopas". Unlike Magikoopas, all Medikoopas do not possess nor ride brooms. They get around on their own two feet like any other wingless koopa.
Though they are most often seen as members of the Koopa Clan, the Medikoopas are noncombatant. This is misunderstood often, since many seem to think that they are just Magikoopas that primarily cast restorative magic, but this is not the case. I have seen three Medikoopas working in Toad Town Hospital. The reason for the low number is because of the unease about Koopas in the Mushroom Kingdom, especially so close to Princess Peach's Castle. By the same token, I have heard that there are at least fifty Medikoopas working in Bowser's main castle in Dark Land. This came as no surprise, since they are Koopas, and most Koopas one comes across in their travels serve Bowser. I will add more to this entry, if I ever learn more about them.

Entry 2: "Dupliboos"
Though similiar to duplighosts in their ability to change shape at will, their normal form would be that of a boo. They possess unique names, instead of going by the normal standard (ex: Bow, Bootler, Dupliss). Another interesting fact is that they all wear some sort of headgear (this is not to be confused with the weapon that a certain Beanish possesses): caps, masks, hoods, glasses, and even crowns and ribbons. It is important to note that no matter what shape they take on, they still possess whatever identifing item they wear in their normal form. Some may change in color or pattern, but the item is definitely the same. I am not sure why this is yet. It could be that these 'Dupliboos' are just Boos that somehow found a magic spell that allows them to change shape, or perhaps these are just Duplighosts that like to wear their hats. I will have to study them further before I can properly place them into the right category of specteral sub-species.

I have decided to keep a list of various creatures I invent. The Dupliboos will be appearing eventually, but I still need to first finish the third chapter of Bittersweet before they ghost their way into my stories.
