She had gotten this feeling, the feeling she got when he had rescued her from the Daleks. That tingly feeling up and down her spine, making her jittery and alert. The cold autumn breeze ruffled her short blonde hair. Rose shivered and she zipped up her jacket higher. She tapped her left foot. Rose knew he was coming, but then again, she didn't. It was all her imagination. Wind bit her ears numb and she shoved her hands in her pockets. It was quiet all around and Rose inhaled the scent of the ocean. This was the place where she saw him last. Whispering those words,"I love you" all choked up inside her. Those feelings trapped. Somewhere deep in her heart she still felt it, but Rose would never dare admit it. She eyes stung with tears, and she blinked them away. Time crawled on and on, loneliness pricked her heart. Rose slowly turned around, ready to leave, to tell herself;"I'm going crazy. It's just my mind." She took a step forward. Her body wouldn't let her. She put a foot down in front of her. Her legs shook and Rose took a step back wards, listening to her heart. She didn't know why she was still here. Rose knew it was her mind, put part of her begged her to stay. She sat down on the damp, sandy ground and crossed her legs. The ocean, only feet away, seemed liked it would take millions of years to get there. Ever since that day, the day he left her hanging. The words hung on his lips. Since that day, her heart felt saggy and alone. It felt like it would take just an hour for her heart to beat once. Somedays, Rose thought it was all her fault. Her fault that he left, that she was stuck here, in this parallel universe. Her mind had wandered into the stars, it wouldn't dare come down. Pain would seep into her and she would spend hours, days crying over one little adventure they had together. One day she even missed the feeling of that weird skin's soul, stuck inside her body. Cassandra was her name. Maybe he was in a different skin. She laughed to herself remembering that day when he had come out, wearing a white and blue striped robe, tousled brown hair and wise, kind eyes. "I want to be ginger." He had muttered to himself. The tears broke through and came cascading down, a waterfall of saltiness. She was crying for him. Hoping she would wake up one day and find him smiling into her face. Hoping that he would appear and whisk her away. But she knew that would never happen again. She had done this many times before. Sitting down on the sand, bawling, silently. She rocked back and forth, curled into a ball, hugging her knees. Rose Tyler, for the millionth time, was crying for The Doctor.
