Wasted love.

Now that she thought about it, as she lie here dying, that there has always been one person there for her, more than any one else. No, not Naruto. Although, he was there most of the ride, but no, not him. When she would cry, he was there. When she was alone, he was there. When she had no one to spar with, he was there. When she needed to talk to some one, any one, he was there.

And she didn't even know it. She didn't notice, and if she did, she probalby wouldn't have cared.

But he matched her knight in shining armor. There for her, and loving her unconditionally, he was there. Rock Lee. The one person who had loved her throughout her life, and never gave up hope on her.

But, she never gave him a chance.

She coughed as she struggled to sit up, looking over around the battle field. It had been war. Between Stone and Konoha. She smiled when she saw him. Slowly, with all her might, she crawled over to him. He was still breathing, but barely alive.

"Sa-kura-san..." he whispered, his chest full of pain.

"Shh... Lee-kun.." his eyes widened slightly at the suffix. She smiled.

"I'm sorry Lee-kun. I'm sorry I never realized this before. But... I love you, Lee-kun."she said happily. She kissed his bloody lips softly, until he wrapped his arms around her, and kissed her with more force. She smiled into the kiss, but separated when she needed to breath. She lay on his chest, holding one of his hands while the other slowly stroked her hair.

"Sa-kura.. san. You've made me the happiest man.. alive."

Sakura smiled at him, and kissed him one last time on the lips. She was content. Dying with her one true love. His hand stop stroking her hair. His breath was no longer ragged, it was not moving. A tear escaped her dull pools of emerald. The last tear she will ever cry.

The tear fell down her chin, until it fell onto the ground. As if mourning their new found love, as it had gone to waste.

"...The lotus blossom blooms twice..."

My first LeeSaku oneshot. Please review. No idea why I added the last scentence. Oh well.
