I fully expect flames for this. I'd flame it myself. In fact, I'm going to.
On another account. I wouldn't split up Will and Elizabeth for anything,
and truthfully think this should be burned. I honestly didn't even remember
writing it until I woke up the next morning and though, 'I wrote a story,
didn't I?'

When he found her, she was looking out over the water again. He smiled to himself, moving to stand beside her against the rail. Silently, he waited for her to speak.
"It's beautiful." That was all she said. The wind blew her hair softly. Without realizing it, Will's fingers danced along her arm. Absently he traced patterns over and over again on her skin.
Elizabeth turned to smile at him and immediately the wind blew her hair into her face. Without thinking, Will brushed it back, letting his fingers slide over her soft cheek. They stood there for a moment, looking at each other, and then Will took her hand, kissing the palm of it gently.
"Will," she began, but stopped as he kissed each of her fingers in turn.
"You were saying?" he asked, grinning at her mischievously. He lined her arm with kisses, causing a distraction that was making it increasingly more difficult for Elizabeth to speak.
"Will.... I really... don't think... that-" Elizabeth abruptly stopped as he moved to her shoulder. She immediately gave up her thoughts of protest and reached out with her right arm for his waist, drawing him to face her. Will placed his hands on her face, tracing her jaw line with his thumb.
"Elizabeth, I want to tell you something," he said. She looked up at him but before he could speak she pulled him down into an intense kiss with both tongues battling for dominance. When they broke apart, both were breathing heavily.
"Elizabeth, I love you," he whispered. At his words, she broke away, turning her back to him. "Elizabeth?"
"Why'd you have to say it?" she asked, turning to him with tears in her eyes.
"I don't understand," Will said, stepping after her and placing a hand gently on her shoulder. She whirled out of his grip, walking away.
"Just stop. You're making it worse."
"Making what worse? Elizabeth, I don't understand." When she didn't answer, he sprinted after her, grabbing her and holding tightly. "What is it?"
"You had to say it, didn't you? Love." Her words were harsh but when Will's confusion didn't clear, she softened her tone. "Oh Will, don't you see? You belong on the ocean. And I, I don't. We can't live the same lives, you and I. Some things were just not meant to be." This time, when she turned, Will let her go, watching as she walked away, never looking back.
