Sorta sequel to Honey and While You Sleep. Neither are required to understand this
Title: Suspicion
It was an odd thought, but Hiyoshi was pretty sure Mukahi-senpai was staring at him. More than once, he swore he felt someone's gaze on him, only to turn around and see Mukahi-senpai bothering Oshitari-senpai, or Mukahi-senpai sharing pocky with Akutagawa-senpai. Was he just being paranoid? He knew he was a bit too suspicious sometimes, but well, he did go to Hyoutei, and with his crazy senpai, it wasn't especially surprising. Besides, Mukahi-senpai didn't have any reason to be looking his way... Right? The blonde shook his head to clear it of whatever weird thoughts he'd been having. It was better to just focus on his schoolwork or he wouldn't be able to fit in the extra dojo practice he wanted to later. Twenty-five times one half the altitude was...
The tingling sensation that someone was watching him grew to be too much for someone with a curiosity as strong as Hiyoshi's, and he whirled around, the golden mushroom hair of his swishing before each strand landed in the same spot it had been in earlier. Mukahi was sitting two rows above him in the bleachers, and a couple seats over. From what Hiyoshi could tell, he was working on some form of homework, Chemistry, if the book he was holding... upside down? Wait, what was Mukahi-senpai doing? Actually, did he even really want to know?
"Mukahi-senpai...?"
Mukahi looked up with a silly grin, hoping that the chemistry book and notebook he was holding had fooled the younger player into believing that he was studying (as if he would ever!). "Whaddya want, Piyo? I'm a busy person, you know!~"
Hiyoshi contemplated confronting him on it for a moment longer before shaking his head. "Never mind."
Mukahi frowned and shrugged, a little put down. "Huh. Whatever, Piyo."
It might have been a suspicion, but with people like Mukahi-senpai, sometimes it was easier not knowing.
