They wheeled her into the room. She looked distraught, disheveled, just plainly put; broken. "When I heard word of you, I didn't believe it."

I studied her, as she put on a brave smirk. Under her brave façade I saw under that she was just as unhappy as I. Her hair fell in front of her face, creating a dark curtain for her to hide behind. "Say something." Her smile falters, and the anger begins to show. She had sores around her mouth, blood stained on her collar and a crazy look in her eye. What had she become? What were they doing to her here? "Say something!" She shrieks.

The nurse who wheeled her in motions for a doctor, I raise my hand and motion her to stop. I was fine, I could handle this. She smirks again, feeding off my confidence. "You know, I didn't think you'd come and visit me. Not after everything I'm sure you heard about me."

I cock my head to the side. Her arms and legs were immobilized; I'm sure in fear that she would bend her way out of this place. I certainly would.

The journey here was painful and long. I'm not even quite sure why I made it. Something had possessed me to come and see the unknown, and find out what I had been missing all my life. I knew exactly why I came here; I came here to get my revenge. However, it wasn't her I wanted to get my revenge on. Even if it was, I wouldn't have been able to bring myself to do it. She was too vulnerable, too easy. In fact, I needed her to get my revenge. She was the only one who could help me, the only one who had the resources to carry out my plan.

I lived many years alone as a result of unfortunate events. It was hard to imagine my life to what it was about to become, a two person adventure, looking for revenge. I had no reason to believe she would help me, but every reason to believe she wouldn't. This wasn't going to be easy, but I'd have to learn to put my stubborn and independent attitude aside for the sake of my mission.

"What do you want?" She asks, keeping her aura of fake confidence.

I take in a deep breath and look her dead in the eyes. "Nurse," I ask calmly, speaking for the first time since my arrival. "Can you please give me a moment alone with her?" She looks uneasy but finally walks away. "I'm going to get you out of here." I tell her.

Her smile becomes a snarl. "Why would you do that?"

"Because I want your help." I say sternly, "And after I help you get out of here, you'll owe me."

She stays quiet for a few minutes. She looks me over, assessing the offer I was making her and weighing her options. She could stay in here and rot, or owe me a favor. I was sure she was also thinking I could just break her out of here, and then she would kill me and escape, but I knew she wouldn't. I also knew that she was too weak to get her own thoughts together, let alone do any decent bending.

"I don't owe anyone anything, and I certainly won't be indebted to you." She spits.

I smile knowingly, "You need me just as much as I need you."

Her eyes shifted around the room, her broken mental state clearly visible to the outside world. Her face becomes even more distraught, if that was possible and she looks up at me. She however senses the weakness in my request for her help and returns to her usual evil, disturbing glare.

"Very well baby sister, I will help you." Said Azula.
