Chapter one Sherry and Brago

Looking around, the red eyes of this mamodo seemed calm. As his black and purple stripped hair blew with the sunset breeze, he stared. ' The sun.' The black marks showed on his arm well, as he crossed them. Sherry, his book weilder, stared at him wondering what he thought. She wonderd what he was so happy about, as the smirk on his face showed. Though he always was staring out into thin air, she wonderd how he was ever going to win if they faced Zatch again. 'No think postive. Brago will win no matter what. I will not fail him.' her mind litterly screamed.

His red eyes shifted to her. "Somthing troubles you." He spoke calmly. "What is it?" He then asked.

She had to admit to herself, that she was caught of guard about him caring. ' Why does he act as if he cares?' She wonderd yet again.

"Sherry." He spoke calm yet firm.

Her eyes then looked at him still off gaurd. His red eyes stared at her, as if he was reading her. Reading every expression, seeing every dream, listening to every thought, every single fear. Everything. The word rung in her head like it was a little voice telling her to run. She shook this thought off, as her eyes locked back with his. When she looked back, her fingers clinched the black book in her arms.

"What?" Her voice shook, as she black book seemed to get harder to hold onto.

"Whats bothering you?" He spoke again.

Sherry shook her head, looked back into the sunset. The wind blew again. When Brago looked back over to her Sherrys hair was blowing in the wind as her stern eyes stared off. He grunted in his normal way ashe started to walk off.

"Lets go." He smirked.

Sherry waited a second then blankly followed him. She always followed him. It was like he was the one in controle but infact she was. Without her, Brago could not win. He could not use his powers to fight other mamodo, but even more he could not be king. And he thought if he could not be king thren no one could.

Sherry stared forward as she walked beside Brago. When her eyes shifted to him, his eyes looked like he wanted controle, power and even worse blood. Even if this was normal it was still scary. She had no clue what he was thinking, and this she though was more scarier than ever. But for now, all she had to do was follow.
