My muse has decided to abandon me for the past three months but decided to come back to me tonight! So, here, my friends, is the first thing I have written in several months.
It's approximately 500 words and would be a deleted scene from POA... Could be considered AU. I own nothing, by the way.
Hope it's a good enough fic to mark my return!

Percy Weasley strode to the front of the Divination classroom with his chin held slightly higher than usual. The bell rang shrilly and as the students filed out of the room, Percy pushed his way through them and came to a halt before Trelawney's desk. Patiently and silently he waited until every student had exited the room before speaking.
"You're wrong," he stated blandly to Trelawney's back.
Unaware of the boy's presence, she gasped in fright and spun around – shawl awry – to face the offending voice. Regaining her composure, she blinked her magnified eyes at him and spoke, "I beg your pardon, Mr. Weasley, but what is it I am guilty of?"
Percy snorted audibly. "Your analysis of my dream." He lifted his chin up further. "You're wrong," he repeated.
Trelawney's back stiffened as she brought herself to full height, which had minimal effect due to Percy being several inches taller than her. "My dear boy, I assure you that I am not wrong."
"Your assurance of the truth is not what I want," he said. "I want the opposite."
Trelawney sighed and straightened her shawl. "Your dream was textbook, Weasley. It is undeniably obvious as to what is going to happen in your family future by looking at your dream: disappointment, anger, resentment and betrayal. You can look it up in several books if you like; the result will regrettably still be the same, for the symbols you described to me are rather bold. I for one am not going to lie to you just to give you false hope."
"I don't care what you or the textbook says," said Percy confidently, but his unconscious fingering of his shirt buttons gave him away. "I am not going to severe ties with my family just because a silly dream analysis told me so." Percy gritted his teeth as though the mere thought made him upset.
"The dream did not tell you. You told the dream." Trelawney removed her oversized glasses and Percy was shocked to see that her eyes truly were in proportion to her face. Without her glasses she looked almost normal. Almost.
"Every person is subconsciously aware of their future because of the planets and the stars," she continued. "They know what every person's future holds. If the planets and stars say that you are going to lose touch with your family, then it must be true." She smiled as though that would most certainly clear up the matter.
"I still think you are wrong, Professor," said Percy with an air of finality laced in his words. He turned his back on her, gathered his schoolwork from his desk, and made his way to the door.
"Besides," he added in genuine boldness before he stepped out of her sight. "The future can be changed."
And then he was gone.
"Not yours," Trelawney whispered morosely.
