Long Looks

Summary: Pointless, but hopefully cute, little moment between Angela and Hodgins.
Author's Note: I know there is a major gap between this one and my first story. I just really haven't had time, what with projects and finals. But I'm borrowing a laptop over the summer so you might get to hear from me a little more often. Okay, here it goes.
He's entirely too good at this. There has to be some law against staring at someone this way. Of course, he can probably get away with it, being a super rich and all that.
It shouldn't affect me this way. I have had other guys stare at me before. And he's not the cutest one by a long shot. Plus, he's short. I have to be at least half a foot taller than him, and that's including the hair, which is starting to look a little fro-ish. He does have gorgeous eyes, though. They are so incredibly blue, like a summer sky.
But he is so annoying. Everything is a conspiracy, and everyone is out to get everyone else. Just this morning he was on his "Dasani-has-mind-control-drugs-dissolved-into-it" routine. However, the way he gets so animated about that stuff is kinda cute. In an insane way, of course.
This is seriously starting to freak me out. He just won't quit. And I know he has stuff to do. We just got a new case a couple of hours ago. It was completely covered in dirt and stuff. Excuse me, "particulates." He should be going over that right now instead of giving me the creeps.
Oh great, he's coming over here.
"So, Angela…"he says looking down as he stuffs his hands into his pockets. "How's the visual coming?"
"Great." Okay, it is so obvious he's stalling. But why? "Have you found anything yet?" Maybe if I help the conversation along, he'll work up his nerve to whatever it is.
"Nothing big so far."
"Okay…" Now what?
"Actually, I haven't really been able concentrate." No, duh. "You keep staring at me."
WHAT?
"Uh, no. You were the one staring at me." I couldn't have been staring at him. Could I?
"Yeah, ya were."
Before he can say anything else, Zach calls out, "Hey, Hodgins, come take a look at this."
"Sure," he calls over his shoulders. He starts walking away, and I turn back to my work, inwardly shacking with anger. "Oh, Angela," he turns around to say. I look up and see him grinning at me. "I don't mind."
Huh.
Author's Note: I have no idea where this came from. I don't even particularly like this pairing. The title just came to me, and this is the result. It even started out as B/B. Oh, well. Please review!
