Hey everyone. This is for the Fortnightly Challenges Thread's Snape Appreciation. I wrote for Shelf 2 7. Hiccoughing Potion. The task was to write about something annoying and I could think of nothing more annoying than a bee that just won't leave you alone. So I hope you all enjoy Bee Trouble.
Victorie looked over to see Teddy swatting at something that was flying around him. She raised her eyebrow as she watched her boyfriend go back to picking some vegetable or flower or something. Going back to picking flowers herself she smiled at how fun it was to have a boyfriend like Teddy. She looked up catching sight of hands flying about a few seconds later. The had swatting begun again. Teddy was beginning to turn beat red.
"What are you swatting at Teddy?" she asked concern for her boyfriend coloring her voice.
"It's a bee," Teddy whined the red on his cheeks deepening in embarrassment. "It won't leave me alone. No matter what I do."
"Don't swat at it. It'll just get angry."
"What do you suggest I do then?" was the impatient reply Teddy gave his girlfriend.
"I don't know. But you should never swat at bees. Unless you want to get stung. Do you want to get stung? I learned that the hard way once."
"No."
"Me either. I'm allergic to bees so that would be very bad. Wouldn't it?"
Teddy nodded his agreement but kept his eyes on the bee that was starting to fly back towards him. "What do we do now?" he asked sounded very annoyed and a little bit afraid now.
"I guess we could do something else," suggested Victorie. "Maybe we could take a walk on the beach before you have to go back to your Grandmother's house?"
Teddy nodded liking that idea. "That sounds like fun," he said holding out his hand for her to take. "Let's go."
Victorie took Teddy's hand and the two walked off towards the beach as the sun began to set. All in all this had been a wonderful day for both of them and nothing would convince them otherwise.
