Raven was meditating on top of the Teen Titans Tower. It was early, around 5:00 a.m. , but she needed the relaxation. Her and her boyfriend Robin had gotten into a bit of an argument the night before. They were fighting Slade and his drones. She was knocking out the drones while Robin attacked Slade. While she was attacking the drones, a few of them attacked her. Robin continually came to help. After defeating Slade, she told him she could protect herself. He said she shouldn't be so mad at him for caring. They went at it for a while the other Titans left the scene of the 'lover's dispute'.
Rave chanted "Azarath Metrion Zinthos. Azarath Metrion Zinthos. Azarath Mertio-
"Hey there,"
Raven looked up to see Red X. She sighed. Yeah he was still a villain but he was more honorable then the rest. Plus he was out of his damn mind all the time. She wouldn't admit it but she had a slight crush on him before, only slight. He was pretty…cool
"What do you want X." Raven began. She had an emotionless expression on her face while she sighed again, gathering black magic in her hand.
"Hey, hey. No need to be hasty I'm not here to fight,"
"I don't trust you" Her eyes stared to glow
"Just calm d own. Please?" Raven put down her hands
"What do you want then?"
"Nothing really just came to hang out. You okay? You look like you need to kick ass. Hopefully not mine."
"No Robin."
"What did Boy Blunder do? Oh wait, 'lemme guess, he wants to wait for marriage."-Red X smirked behind hid mask
"We just had a bit of a fight. Nothing major"
"What happened?"
"Why should I tell you?"
"Who else are you gonna talk to. Just call me Dr. Red X. So what happened Raven?"
Rave frowned at the memory" We go into a fight over him protecting me too much. I can handle myself."
"He's just being a good boyfriend. Isn't protection what most girls want?"
"Yeah but not all the time. I defeated Slades' drones before. He needs to understand that I don't need his protection 24/7."
"What are you afraid of Raven.'
"What?"
"You can't seem to let anyone help you without going all pissy"
"I don't-" Red X cut her off.
"I'll admit Boy Blunder went a little overboard. He is a superhero as well as a boyfriend. Just talk to him and cut him some slack. I'm sure the two birds you are will figure something out"
Raven thought about it and understood Red X to be right. Her and Robin should come to some sort of comprise. She decided to talk to Robin when he starts out his early morning training later.
"Thanks X"
"No problem. But if you and Boy Blunder don't patch things up, just give me a call." Red X winked at her
Raven rolled her eyes but smiled. She then went to the training area.
Thank you for reading my first story. I just always though Raven and Red X would make great friends, regardless of the whole her/villain thing. As for the Rob/Rea I just always liked the pairing but I'm not to obsessive so I don't hate the other pairings, just like this one better. Later
